Gavilan Golf Course

the course is 9 holes playing 18 . two tee positions for each 9 holes

on weekends or when we play saturday, the 9th hole is unavailable to play do to young children’s event.

This is unfortunate because the 9th hole is quite a challenge.

First time coming here, friendly staff, great deals! definitely worth checking out! will be back weekly.

Good practice course for the money if u like to walk 18 under 3 hours. Greens are off and in slow or wet depending on weather. Overall good play for the money

Challenging 9 hole the wind was blowing pretty well which made the course more difficult to play.

I came just to practice with my irons. Worked on short game mostly. Hit a few good tee shots with 3 Wood. Because of a bad back I can’t swing to good with my irons, I do not get the distance that I need to get to or close to the greens. I mostly use my hybrid clubs.

You could say I got my 7th and 8th shots down... just need to work on shots 1-6 and my game will be better... lol.

I just need to manage my game with the clubs I am used too. I mostly play biggie golf with a few pars now and then, birdies have come but not as often as I would like..

The greens had started to get better but were really bad today, really bouncy and sandy.

My two playing partners always notice how the course is always getting better each week that we play here.

Staff is always very friendly and polite. From fairways to the greens constant improvement.

We use this course to practice. We are seeing a little more progress each time we play and will continue to play here.

Looks nothing like the pictures!!! Course is a mess. Rather play in an open parking lot than this dump. Shouldn’t even be called a golf course

For one, Bruce is and has always been great. He is very friendly and very respectful to my friends and I.

This course is great when you want to work on your game and work on both driver and irons.

The greens are not the best, but I try to move my balloon a circle to where I can get a good shot as if they greens were in better shape.

Always get hooked up with other people and have never been disappointed, people are always friendly.

9th hole closed for 1st Tee. Greens unkept. Pace of play great. Hand carts broken. Not worth the money but a great course for kids to practice and play..

The day started out great on the first round but when we got back to the first tee there was a back up. Wait time was 20-30 minutes .

There was a group of teens about 13 who looked like they were there to just have fun. They caused the back up because only a couple of them knew how to play the game. Problem was they wen out in three groups of four, but only one set of clubs in each group. One teen was clowning teeing off with a putter, they spent so much time talking and loud. The three groups were just ahead of us on the second hole we passed them cause 8 of them were all on the green . No one on the third tee.

Then we skipped hole four to pass the first of their group who were wrestling on the green and blasting inappropriate music and loud. First time I ever saw this. I will still be back to play love to just practice my game here.
