Gavilan Golf Course

Gavilan College gold course is a fantastic place to practice ones game. The tee times are always available and at a great price. I highly recommend playing here at least once.

Good place to practice your short and mid range iron shots. decent putting green.nice scenery .
not to be busy , so can play your round leisurely.

The price is right, but they need to upgrade maintenance at the course. I still had a good time.

There should be more courses like this one as part of a community college. I would play Gavilan more often if I lived closer but I don't.

A good little spot to keep your game in shape. Has a couple of par fours long enough to get out the driver and a ±207yd par four that you need excellent control to go for. Also a couple of longer par threes that keep things interesting. Overall, will play again when in the area.

Played 9 holes with a small bucket of warm up balls for just under $6 by using GolfNow to make reservation. I challenge anyone to find a better deal in the Bay Area.

The course has good features, a variety of short and long drives, obstacles like the little pond on # 8, gullies on #2 and #9. All in all a pleasurable experience, except for the loud music coming from
the Football/baseball field.

Had a great time. Holes are easy, Greens rolled slower than true. Wide Fairways. Fun round for a good price.

Cool course cool people, the sun seems to always be shinning there. The wind going through that canyon is something else, very challenging The greens are really slow compared to other courses, I enjoy this place a lot.

This small college course is in excellent shape, and I a lot fun to play. Details are attened to, and the course shows it.

This is a great little 9 hole course. Lots of variety and awesome value. Not crowded and plays in a little over and hour for 9 holes. Would play again for sure.

There are a lot of areas on the course that are in pretty bad shape, but if you hit the ball where you are supposed to, you will have good grass. I was especially pleased with how true the greens roll. They are very slow, but really true. The range mats are pretty chewed up, but it looks like there is a grass range available. Ive been twice on nice days, and the course was pretty empty both times. Ill be back for more practice. I think it is a fun, place where you have the option to score well, or find trouble.

I signed up for a Day of Golf for the First Time using GolfNow. Everything went smoothly go to the course got my Bucket of Balls to Tune Up! My Tee time was all set and I played a nice 9 holes of Golf! Most of the Course is pretty much straight forward and just offered a great day to Practice.

I love playing this course. It's close to home, challenging, yet easy for beginners. Staff is extremely friendly. It can get windy mid afternoon.

I have only been golfing for one year and love a course I can practice at peacfully without over crowding . This course fits my desire and is the only reason I say stay away. The course is not as groomed as some and is a little compact but with the gully to clear on 1 and 9, the water hazard to the right of 8 the distance of two three and six and the low trees and trees to the left of five it is a great course to practice on. The greens are a little rough in spots but pick your club carefully get a good lay it won't be an issue. The scenery of the fields and foothills make for a very relaxing day. But as I said in the review title stay away so I can keep this little practice gem to myself.

Decent little course with a few holes that make you think. If you miss the fairway, you can still find your ball without much trouble, but you'll probably have to deal with some trees. Overall, a nice, quick 9 at a good price.

If you're looking for a 9 hole course that has a few holes where you can get some practice with you driver, Gavilan is the place to play! I only paid $11 for two players, which included 2 small buckets of range balls.
