Pajaro Valley Golf Club

The course isn’t as bad as portrayed in other reviews. Tee boxes were ok and the greens seemed to be in good shape. Good deal for unlimited play after 3:00(?).

Started off with an ok intersection with staff but ran into two dogs on hole 1 trying to pick up our balls and getting in the way. A few minutes later a staff member picked the dogs up and I figured that was the end of it. Surprise at hole 4 dogs running around again picking up balls and getting in our way. Called it and and was apologized and told the dogs did not belong to the course and there was not much they could do. Are you kidding me!! I asked them to get the dogs and have animal control pick them up. The staff member seemed confused and after a while the dogs finally got picked up. Fairways are in horrible shape, no beverages during our entire game! On Father’s Day weekend I would expect the cart with drinks making its rounds. Save your money and play another course

Overall you get what you paid for, My only critique as far as a lot of improvement needed was with regards to the carts. They were sluggish at best, and sometimes felt as if they were about to die.

Haven’t been out to this course in quite some time. The conditions have done a complete 180. The greens look healthy and felt good. The staff is always friendly. I love the grass range. I can’t wait to come back!

Played this course last year and the green conditions where awful. As for my recent round the course conditions where perfect for the cost of my round. Thinking maybe conditions change pending time of the year or perhaps Pajaro hired a new grounds crew. Whatever the case 18 holes with a cart for $70 was worth my time and money.

Greens are in better shape than earlier in the year. We are local an it is overpriced for what it is regularly compared to other local courses. But if you can play for 50$ per person with cart it is fine.

Can not find below $60 weekend T time deals in the area . The coarse is fare good, well organized , although car and walking groups mix.

Love the exclusivity pyro provides. I like to play during the week and I'm usually one of the few golfers out there which really lets me take my time and enjoy my rounds. Occasionally. There are a few too many daisies and it can be tough to find your ball, but it doesn't bother me too much when I got extra time to look for it.

I try to get out to Pajaro Valley once a week.

Pajarro Valley is a fun track. The rough is rougher in places. But, the greens are fixed since the last time I played (last year.)

Total weed destruction, Can't find your ball in the fairway or the rough that is all weeds.

I have played this course around a dozen times over the last five years, and it’s usually in manageable shape but over the last couple of years the course fairways have been in horrible shape. The daisy clover condition is completely unacceptable. My partner and I walked off the course after 9 holes because every hole drive caused 5+ minutes of ball searching even though every drive landed on the fairway or first cut.

We all are not PGA pros playing here. We want to get out and recreate and enjoy the game to our amateur abilities. But it’s very unenjoyable when you have to search for your ball after almost every strike even though the ball is in the fairway or first cut, or take a drop to keep the pace of play in order.
