Pajarro Valley is a fun track. The rough is rougher in places. But, the greens are fixed since the last time I played (last year.)

Total weed destruction, Can't find your ball in the fairway or the rough that is all weeds.

I have played this course around a dozen times over the last five years, and it’s usually in manageable shape but over the last couple of years the course fairways have been in horrible shape. The daisy clover condition is completely unacceptable. My partner and I walked off the course after 9 holes because every hole drive caused 5+ minutes of ball searching even though every drive landed on the fairway or first cut.

We all are not PGA pros playing here. We want to get out and recreate and enjoy the game to our amateur abilities. But it’s very unenjoyable when you have to search for your ball after almost every strike even though the ball is in the fairway or first cut, or take a drop to keep the pace of play in order.

This course is best for all level golfers who enjoy longer fairways compared to par 3 layout. Fairways and greens were better than past experiences, expect delays due to challenging conditions for beginners.

From Mallorca. Spain to Hawaii , Palm Springs/Desert and the Santa Cruz/Monterey area, Pajaro Valley has its own personality. I find that many that play like to blame the course for their shortcomings that has given this course an undue blemish. Some greens and traps need help. I love the challenges. If you need to impress someone, stay home.

All grass, including greens on the back 9 have drastically improved. Great place to play.

Played this course a few times, glad to see the green conditions are getting better. Enjoyed.

Love the layout, look and feel of the course however the greens are need of much love and a letdown. I understand they are working on it but it will take time.

Overall the course was fun. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Tee boxes were in decent condition, some better than others. Fairways were nice for the most part, of course a couple dry/rough patches, but overall pretty nice. The greens definitely need the most help. There are a couple pure greens, the rest are a little burned and patchy so putting can be a little rough. But I’d still recommend this course to anyone interested. I’d definitely come back.

This golf course is in poor condition. I would never play this course again

A once beautiful course has come on hard times. They have a great staff with an impossible task. We have been informed that this course is in the process of being renovated. In the meantime however it is not being cared for. The front 9 is disintegrating. The back 9 is a virtual desert. You are playing in dirt in the fairways. The greens have big patches of freckles that leave them lumpy. The T-boxes are mostly not level. You tee off with the ball above or below your feet most of the time. While waiting for the renovations for several years now, the willingness of the owners to invest in any basic maintenance issues has made the course virtually unplayable. It is absolutely horrible compared to what it was in the past. Can not believe they are charging what they do for the condition they have allowed this course to fall into.

In overall this is a good course. I enjoy the weather and the day. However the green condition is horrible. It has weeds and lot of dry grass. It need some maintenance to keep the course great again

Putting surfaces need repair. Dead fairways are expected at a cheap price, but several putting surfaces were unplayable. Shame. We used to really enjoy this course and it’s beautiful views of the Slough and Monterey Bay.

The Practice area was superb! The Range was excellent. Tho course was fair, the Greens were the worst I ever played on. NO such thing as aTrue Roll, too many holes and bare spots...12" gummies could be tough.

Greens and fairways have improved over the past few weeks.

I've played this course many times before, but seems like maintenance is severely lacking. Poor green maintenance, cart paths are horrible, tee boxes need help. In the past the greens were well maintained but now. Place needs new management or a company to take over and revamp the place, has a lot of potential.
