Pajaro Valley Golf Club

My first time playing at Pajaro Valley was fun.

As a recently returned play, took advantage from wide fairways, slow greens due to aeration, and five par5 holes.

Many areas were neglected and missing grass spots were everywhere, but still playable.

Will visit again to have most enjoyable time after knowing how the course is.

Pajaro Valley Golf club is a wonderful Track but in below average condition. It's my recommendation that PV transitions to a naturalist golf course with a Single line targeted irrigation system similar to what you would find in Desert communities, that can substantially shrink the irrigation footprint of the golf course. By transitioning to a naturalist desert style golf course, PV will save the City water while simultaneously allowing the maintenance staff to MANICURE a smaller portion of the golf course and make PV competitive with Spring Hills, Seascape and Delaveaga golf courses

Really cool layout. Happy to see the greens were in great shape. Staff is always exceptional.

Another amazing round!! The friendliest staff in the area with a fun challenging course to go with them. I played horribly but still had a great time, that’s how great this course is. I can’t sit to get back out there!!

Nice course with some tricky holes that will make you make smart choices

Beautiful scenery. Nice park course. Somewhat neglected though.

Course management and grass is not being taken care of very sad. Was better with older owners.

Pajaro could grand! This is an amazing golf course. It’s sad to see it treated like any other municipal course. The location, the view, the fun holes. It has it all. It just needs a little money spent in the right areas and it could live up to the rest of the courses in the area.

Trying new courses in the Monterey Bay area and went to Pajaro Valley. Quick round. Somewhat challenging but good course to get your spirits up! Love that they have large signs telling you where the next hole is. Didn't have to look at the map & figure out where to go next. Medium-minimal rough. And a nice local bar at the end for a beer!

The course isn’t as bad as portrayed in other reviews. Tee boxes were ok and the greens seemed to be in good shape. Good deal for unlimited play after 3:00(?).

Started off with an ok intersection with staff but ran into two dogs on hole 1 trying to pick up our balls and getting in the way. A few minutes later a staff member picked the dogs up and I figured that was the end of it. Surprise at hole 4 dogs running around again picking up balls and getting in our way. Called it and and was apologized and told the dogs did not belong to the course and there was not much they could do. Are you kidding me!! I asked them to get the dogs and have animal control pick them up. The staff member seemed confused and after a while the dogs finally got picked up. Fairways are in horrible shape, no beverages during our entire game! On Father’s Day weekend I would expect the cart with drinks making its rounds. Save your money and play another course

Overall you get what you paid for, My only critique as far as a lot of improvement needed was with regards to the carts. They were sluggish at best, and sometimes felt as if they were about to die.

Haven’t been out to this course in quite some time. The conditions have done a complete 180. The greens look healthy and felt good. The staff is always friendly. I love the grass range. I can’t wait to come back!
