Industry Hills Golf Club at Pacific Palms Resort - Zaharias Course

The course was a absolute disaster. Its in the worst shape I've seen in 15 years. Its ashamed because the course has alot of history and is a great track. But the conditions of late have been really bad

Great course and a great value. Pace of play was not good. 4 hours and 40 minutes and while the pro shop said "4 and half to 5 hours is acceptable pace" I disagree. There was one group that had the entire course open in front of them while we were three groups deep on the par 3's which are holes 13 and 14. While waiting on the tee boxes we watched the slow group hit there tee shots on the downhill par 3 17th hole from the blues with metal woods with nobody hitting the green. More than likely this is what slowed them down all day which slowed the entire course down.

I had a good round. Group in front was playing very slow. Conditions were pretty good but some areas were soggy and others were patchy grass. Greens were receptive and iron shots stuck well.

Having quality partners was key to a good time and I enjoyed the course itself. Narrow fairways and trees give you a challenge. If you do not get a ride to the golf shop then it is a bit of a walk. Short game so valuable here and you can hit irons on shorter holes.

Course was in great shape. Greens held and rolled true. Always the downside of this place is the pace of play. No on course marshalls either. So you just have to deal with it. At one point we had 3 groups on a par 3 Waiting to hit. If they managed that, this would be the best course in SoCal

I haven’t played this course in over 20 years. It’s a great challenge. It will bite you hard on a mistake, but is very fair so low scores are possible if you keep it in the fairway off the tee. Played the blue tips. Nice mix up of short and long holes. Fairways cut tight. Patches of soaked areas here and there. Greens were perfect. Held irons and were quick and broke where i saw the line. Can’t wait to play again.

Every hole everywhere there are carts and golfers. The front group played slowly and the rear groups played very fast.

We played the Ike which was long and challenging But the fairways were under repair and in poor condition. The green were good and pace of play was good.

The Babe is in great condition from tee to green...although there are some spots in the fairways that are dry or dead. But stay away from the Ike all together.....for now. They are re-soding majority of the fairways and it won't be until end of the year before I pay to play the Ike. But if they don't be careful the Babe can potentially become damaged due to so much traffic..

The staff around the course was very quick to chime in on where you could not park our golf cart. When asking where we could park them, he had no answer and told us to move the cart. This conversation was repeated twice. Then at the end, it was a shameful experience. There was no place to clean our clubs, let alone someone to clean them post round. We weren't even offered a ride back to our cars afterwards. Just watched the staff ignore us completely. Shame because the course was overall in decent condition. Just wouldn't recommend playing here if you like a smooth experience. If it wasn't for the $44 rate, I'd have made a bigger fuss on site. But for a course of this caliber, well below standards in terms of hospitality.

Narrow fairways but many holes allow you to find your ball if you shank it. You'll have to take your medicine though bc you're not going to have an unobstructed view of the hole. Course conditions were excellent and the greens were in great shape. Highly Recommend!

It was great the group in front of was playing from the back tees and there game was the whites. However we still

finish in three and a half hours.

Excellent golf course. Well maintained except for a few of the sand traps. Let’s get some sand in them please.
