Shoreline Golf Links at Mountain View

I like shoreline but I had terrible experience. Took us 5.5 hours to play, teed off at 12:50pm. Marshall told us there were some drinks ahead of us on hole 9 but he never did anything about it so it was horrible. Good luck. Hope Marshall does his job next time. Anybody can just drive around but it’s your job to make sure pace is normal.

Greens were in good shape, tee boxes were ok. The fairways were in bad shape. This course has a nice layout and potential to be a great course just needs much better up keep and maintenance. Very slow play and never saw one marshal.

Awful. I will stop playing here. First of all, they do jot enforce pace of play. This past weekend, I was subject to a 6 hour round. On one hole, there were 5 - FIVE - groups waiting to tee off. The Marshall drove around once and didn’t even talk to anyone. What’s the point of having one when he doesn’t even do his job? Also - the drink cart only went around once. Seems like a necessary service when you’re waiting around forever on each hole. The course of course is in horrendous shape. There are gopher holes everywhere! Watch out as you could easily lose your golf ball or or worse - roll an ankle. There’s geese droppings EVERYWHERE. It smells like a zoo. The tee boxes are in terrible shape and uneven and the greens are not repaired. I’ve only played this course because it’s near my home but I will no longer patronize it because of this. “COVID” is no longer an excuse. Get some new management.

Fairways are dry and geese droppings are all over the course. I needed to tip tie to get to the ball. Some Sand traps are hard, clubs can’t dig under the ball. Need to break down the sand on bunkers. There are a few T-boxes so far away from the last hole played.

this would have been a very nice course with the nice natural environment and good layout. But the course is in very bad condition and the pace of play is really slow. will not to want to play here again!

Windy day, but a fun test. I like that the pace, it was good, not fast, and not slow.

I love this Robert Trent track, I love the little subtleties of the design that trick your eye and make you really think about your entire shot. Look if you want beautifully manicured fairways with gimmicky hole designs then maybe just keep playing at baylands country club oops I meant links.. .. I get it you can’t afford a country club baylands I heard is recruiting.. but in all honesty Shoreline provides me with a darn good challenge from the tips and the team has made some vast improvements to most all bunkers that are so satisfying to play from as well as ensure the greens are firm , fast, fair and playing many rounds at Shoreline has made me such a better golfer ..
