Jurupa Hills Country Club

About
Situated in the foothills of Riverside, Jurupa Hills Country Club is popular amongst locals for offering one of the most affordable rounds in the area. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy but there are still some tough holes. The front nine is fairly wide open but the back nine gets more challenging. Although the fairways are mostly straight, they are lined with trees on both sides and the occasional dogleg is thrown into the mix. The golf course tumbles across rolling hills, providing uneven lies and a few blind shots as well. Large sand bunkers are strategically placed throughout and there are also a few water hazards that come into play. In addition to the golf course, there is also a driving range at Jurupa Hills Country Club.

Great Greens
4.5 hour round which is good for this track. Seems that unless you pay $100 or more that is standard for southern CA. Avoid Wednesday and Friday because of ladies and men association that start in the morning on these days
DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE
Do not play this course, I would not recommend. Course was not worth the money. The course Marshall kept rushing us and hassling us to speed up because the people in front were a hole ahead but there was no one behind us and we were playing the same pace the whole time. Not nice enough for the money or for them to be rushing us during our round. Clubhouse is run down as well.
Solid course in Jarupa
first time playing. the course was in good condition. the greens were in excellent shape and were rolling fast. Layout is good and challenging. we were 2 and they let 5 play after 12 and we teed off at 1. given that info we still finished in about 4 hours. I live in OC and this was open last minute but would come back and play again. The starter was a little lost or maybe just no personality but the bar staff were awesome. Friendly mens group as well.
Slow
The pace on the front nine was OK but on the second 9 pace was slow had the past groups of 5 which slowed everything down, finished up 14 holes and just got frustrated and left. I probably won’t be back anytime soon.
Good pace
Overall I give 8 out of 10.
Not the fanciest club house with amenities but it’ll work as I’m there to play golf only..
Bumpy greens
Nice course usually easy to book during week. Not as hilly as other hill courses. Most holes straight forward no dog legs. Good value for the money. My only complaint greens always bumby.
Greens look good
The fairways are sparse and the grass around the greens is still spongy & ball grabbing
Busy is good for business
Course is making improvements to the grounds which makes more people play. 4.5 hour round is as quick as it gets here but plan on 5+ hours
