Jurupa Hills Country Club

About
Situated in the foothills of Riverside, Jurupa Hills Country Club is popular amongst locals for offering one of the most affordable rounds in the area. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy but there are still some tough holes. The front nine is fairly wide open but the back nine gets more challenging. Although the fairways are mostly straight, they are lined with trees on both sides and the occasional dogleg is thrown into the mix. The golf course tumbles across rolling hills, providing uneven lies and a few blind shots as well. Large sand bunkers are strategically placed throughout and there are also a few water hazards that come into play. In addition to the golf course, there is also a driving range at Jurupa Hills Country Club.

Nice Gem of a Golf Course
Nice golf course with an enticing design and fun to play. Fairways and tee boxes need more grass, too many bare spots and hard pan. The greens are very good.. better than most similar type courses. My only negative today was the ridiculously slow pace of play. Had a tee time at 11am, finally tee'd off at 11:30am and finished 5+ hours later. Never saw a marshall and the first time the cart girl came by was when we (finally) reached the 17th hole! This spoiled what was otherwise a beautiful day of golf. Hopefully, management reads these reviews and makes the necessary changes.
Had to wait for tee-off every hole
Slow pace of players, hanging on the tee boxes at every hole
Windy but fun time
The course was in better shape then expected. The greens were awesome. The fairways were nice and even though the wind was blowing pretty hard.... It still made for a fun time. The pace of play could have been better as groups of two and singles (1 person) were let out alone and as it got backed up on certain holes.... no one was willing to pair up to speed up the rounds to beat sundown. Overall it was a cool time and i would return.
A Little Off
The Jurupa “Country Club” was a little off yesterday:
1. They had a morning tourney, so they ran out of hot dogs.
2. The urinal in the men’s restroom has been out of order for weeks.
3. The fairways still have some GUR sections, but definitely better than two years ago.
4. Some greens are still recovering from being punched.
But - all in all - conditions were good, and a good time was had by all.
Course is very nice and calm. lotsofpine tree makes feelings players mind. I love this course.
Cost more then you get.
Over wet fairways and rough, greens OK coming back from punch. Way to many fairways with thin to just plain dirt, did they water all summer? Just another place to overpay to play golf. you would think that with the green fees up from years past they mite spend a few dollars on the course.
Nice Course
Beautiful course with lots of trees and well maintained.
