Jurupa Hills Country Club
About
Situated in the foothills of Riverside, Jurupa Hills Country Club is popular amongst locals for offering one of the most affordable rounds in the area. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy but there are still some tough holes. The front nine is fairly wide open but the back nine gets more challenging. Although the fairways are mostly straight, they are lined with trees on both sides and the occasional dogleg is thrown into the mix. The golf course tumbles across rolling hills, providing uneven lies and a few blind shots as well. Large sand bunkers are strategically placed throughout and there are also a few water hazards that come into play. In addition to the golf course, there is also a driving range at Jurupa Hills Country Club.

Stay off the fairway
While the title is harsh, I found it to be true.
The greens were beautiful and well kept, if very fast. The rough was easy to get through and those off kilter shots were fairly easy to recover from.
The fairway, however, was hard with no give and very difficult to hit from. It was almost like hitting from cement - unless you were in a divot and then it was even worse. It seemed as though very few players repaired their divots so the near potholes were tough to play through.
Overall, the course was nice as long as you stayed off the fairway.
This course has great features
It was enough to have a good day with the members.
bumpy greens
good value for the money. But the greens are very bumpy. they were not cut consistently.
no soap water dispenser anywhere to. lean the balls.
Not Great, But a Good Value
My brother-in-law and I play this course often because it’s a good value, and you can easily get a good tee time, which is difficult post COVID. The conditions have gradually gone from fair to good. When we played this time, there was a five some ahead of us, which slowed things down quite a bit. I’m not sure if this was a management problem, or these five dudes decided to “manage” their own tee time. I was a bit disappointed when the snack bar was closed when we made the turn at 2:00 pm - No hot dog for me 😢
Nice course standard.
Course pretty easy to get on and pace play good. Grass a little spotty. Quirky up and down hilly layout. Price is reasonable.
Nice Gem of a Golf Course
Nice golf course with an enticing design and fun to play. Fairways and tee boxes need more grass, too many bare spots and hard pan. The greens are very good.. better than most similar type courses. My only negative today was the ridiculously slow pace of play. Had a tee time at 11am, finally tee'd off at 11:30am and finished 5+ hours later. Never saw a marshall and the first time the cart girl came by was when we (finally) reached the 17th hole! This spoiled what was otherwise a beautiful day of golf. Hopefully, management reads these reviews and makes the necessary changes.
Had to wait for tee-off every hole
Slow pace of players, hanging on the tee boxes at every hole
