Jurupa Hills Country Club

About
Situated in the foothills of Riverside, Jurupa Hills Country Club is popular amongst locals for offering one of the most affordable rounds in the area. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy but there are still some tough holes. The front nine is fairly wide open but the back nine gets more challenging. Although the fairways are mostly straight, they are lined with trees on both sides and the occasional dogleg is thrown into the mix. The golf course tumbles across rolling hills, providing uneven lies and a few blind shots as well. Large sand bunkers are strategically placed throughout and there are also a few water hazards that come into play. In addition to the golf course, there is also a driving range at Jurupa Hills Country Club.

Great public golf
Greens are great. Fairways are good. Shop golf now for best values.
Slow play
Play was unacceptable SLOW !!
Staff did nothing to speed play !!!!!
Great course for beginner to intermediate
This course had little hazards for beginners to struggle with but still maintained the yardage and course shape to give a slight challenge to an intermediate golfer. The hot dog at the turn around made the trip worth it on its own. Very well maintained as well.
Did not have my tee time
They did not have my tee time on their list. Seems like yhey had some sort of tournament going on and just stuck us in the middle. Pace of play was horrendous. 5+ hour round. Favorite part was the frequency of the beautiful cart girl.
100*
We’ve played Jurupa Hills a handfull of times. I wanted to take my son out for a summer round, with one of his buddies and his dad. We knew it was going to be hot, and brought some extra drinks and a cooling towel with ice. We had a nice front nine and ordered food at 8, and grabbed it on the turn, the back nine was when it started getting really hot and there was no water on the course anywhere. I was disappointed that there were not any drinking fountains or cold water coolers positioned at all. Hopefully in the future they’ll add some water on the course.
What happened to jurupa
Not sure what happened to this course but the fairways were cut down so they were brown. Dead cut grass around the fringes of the greens. Sprinklers running on the greens so you had to putt through streams of water. Sprinklers running on the fairways so you had to run to your ball and hit it before you got wet. What a complete mess.
