Jurupa Hills Country Club

About
Situated in the foothills of Riverside, Jurupa Hills Country Club is popular amongst locals for offering one of the most affordable rounds in the area. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy but there are still some tough holes. The front nine is fairly wide open but the back nine gets more challenging. Although the fairways are mostly straight, they are lined with trees on both sides and the occasional dogleg is thrown into the mix. The golf course tumbles across rolling hills, providing uneven lies and a few blind shots as well. Large sand bunkers are strategically placed throughout and there are also a few water hazards that come into play. In addition to the golf course, there is also a driving range at Jurupa Hills Country Club.

This course is enjoyable!
This course is enjoyable! Nice layout, good course condition, and friendly staff…
Only complaint is the pace of play. It took less than 5 hours, but almost at every tee box, we needed to wait for the front team to tee off.
Other than that, it’s a nice course!
A return after 47 years
After finding out, there was no greens keeping team there and there was one guy hired from Indian Hills to take care of the whole course I was pretty impressed with the conditions the fairways could use a little more water. They were a little thin, but the greens were nice. The traps were good. The tea boxes were good. The course seemed very kept well and nice and clean. The only complaint I had was a close the snack bar too early I feel they should stay open at the course is open.
Koach
Staff friendly. Prices great! Greens good. Fairways need a little work.
Overall enjoyable.
Front 9 fairways totally bare and soaked. This place should be in better condition as they keep raising the fee. Greens slow, #17 was so soaked warer was shooting in air off ball as it rolled. Get it 2gether.
Don't know enough to know
Hi ... I live off of the course and after 7 years, decided to check it out. Good to have finally seen all of the holes,
Nice Layout
Pace of play could have been better the group behind us had some ladies that kept hitting up on us and didn’t speak English a little frustrating
Terrible conditions; not worth anything over $50
Tried this course out after reading decent reviews. I’m really questioning who is giving this place more than 2 stars. Conditions were awful. Greens were in bad shape, dirt patches on many and over watering on some. There was little to no grass on most fairways. We found ourselves moving our balls 10-20 yards to find a patch of grass/weeds to hit off of. Tee boxes were atrocious. A few were so bad that it almost seemed like it must be a prank with cameras watching us. Additionally, a couple holes had random power line poles right in the middle of the fairway, blocking your approach shot.
We were the 3rd group out in the morning so pace of play was fine for us. However when we finished, there was a backup of about 5 groups waiting to tee off. I can’t imagine how long those rounds ended up taking.
Had we paid $50 or less, this wouldn’t have been a big deal. But once a course starts charging $65-75+ for a round, that comes with expectations (like grass in the fairway). I’ve been playing golf a long time (30 years), and this was probably the 2nd worst course I have ever played. We won’t be back.
Good day - not busy
We arrived early and the pro shop guy told we could go out when were ready. So we got out about 45 min early. Not a person in front of us until the 1th hole. Finished the round in 3 hours...
Slow & No Amenities
I came here today on a Saturday at 12:08, I didn't expect to play a 3.5hr round but I was hoping it would have been better than it was. It took us almost 6hrs to complete 18 holes. I didn't see a marshal on the course to push anyone along. Also, I didn't see a cart girl the entire time after the 4th hole. I stopped by the snack bar at 3:10 to grab a cup of ice and Gatorade before hitting the back 9 and it was already closed, so disappointing. They were cleaning up inside, they must have just closed at 3pm. But the course itself wasn't too bad being that it's the end of summer. The fairways were kind of hard / dead on some holes but helped my roll lol but the greens were in decent shape. Overall I would say today wasn't great but you get what you pay for. Idk if I will play here again, I think I will shell out an $25 - $50 for a better course that's in better condition and more amenities like getting a cold drink while playing.
Narrow and Challenging Course
Very nice layout and track! The course is challenging with some very nice dog legs. Greens were in great shape.
A course I would definitely play again.
Great Public course with GOLFNOW access
Jurupa is a great public facility. See me with GOLF NOW hot deal and promo play to make it an even better value.
Frustrating round !!
This is a fun course- but the pace of play was terrible today !!! I think they overbooked to adjust for an afternoon tournament. We waited on every tee- every shot. Several tees had three groups stacked up.
Add to that the 95 degree heat- and it was miserable.
Not the way to run a course- especially during the summer heat !!!
