Good course - players need to take better care of it
The course was in very good condition compared to the last time I played it over 6 months ago. Golf staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks John/Coach and Regan!
Getting food was not as good. Leave plenty of time to get food if you need it before teeing off. We did not try getting food at the turn due to out initial experience prior to playing.
The biggest negative is how players are treating the course. If felt like no one was fixing their divots or raking the bunkers after they were in them. We played at noon, so I don't know what the bunkers looked liked like at the beginning of the day.
Pace of play
Front 9 was fine. There was a 5 some in the back which slowed tremendously ( we were only 2 some). We had to skip 4 holes and finally finish on 18. Not sure why there was such a long backup on weekday. Thanks
If Loud Lawnmowers Are Your Thing…
Really, REALLY Bad Experience.
On two successive holes two different maintenance personnel riding big lawnmowers mowed right next to and right in front of us both on the green and in the fairway. When we asked the second guy to stop he just looked directly at us and continued on.
Add in the fact that we were waiting on every tee box and throughout the whole holes from Hole Six on and it was not an enjoyable outing.
$79 for this course is not worth it.
If you like large lawn mowers providing a noisy distractions this is the course for you.
Pace of play was absolutely ridiculous. Slow, Slow, SLOOOWW…! The capper on this bad Veterans Day experience was the maintenance crews and their large riding mowers. They would drive right next to us and right in front of is while we’re trying to play a nice quiet $79 (!!!) round of golf. When they circled the green we were putting on I had enough and called the golf shop. You’d’ve thought I was speaking a foreign language. Suffice to say nothing was resolved. Pace of play was so bad we passed on playing the back nine as it would have been three hours. Two Stars is being generous.
Great course
Greens and fairway are in great shape. Pace of play was a lil slow but the marshal was great and moving people along!
Getting better
They are putting a lot of work into course. Greens are pretty good. Just need a little better bunkers and fairway maintenance and it would be well worth the money.
A morning well spent
Decent track with some fun character for a track home course. Narrow, but fair. Could use a real practice green. If you don’t have a range, you should probably have a decent practice green.
I love this course and keep it in my rotation,But
this time was different,conditions have plummeted on some holes.Green on first hole is terrible,dead or dying areas on most fairways,bunkers unkept.This can be an amazing course and for awhile they were bringing it back and I was waiting patiently watching these improvements.But that has obviously stopped and my guess is there deciding weather to continue trying or let the course go and focus on the restaraunt and bar.Thing is without the course people wouldn't be hanging out there drinking and eating either?
