Ok for locals/beginners
Friendly staff. For a short public course it was just ok. Did the best they could with the layout I’m sure but the greens needed cut, suuuuper slow. Bunkers needed more sand and groomed. It looked like packed dirt. There’s nicer practice courses for less $. Pace was fine if everyone walked which most players did but I’d be a little held up if I had decided to ride. This course has its place for the majority of golfers but not for me. Paid for 18 but left after the front 9. Wish them well though.

Cool course. Cool players. Marshall needs to relax.
We played this course last weekend and really enjoyed it. The people we were playing with got yelled at by the Marshall multiple times for playing too slow or for skipping ahead without our party. What the marshall didn’t realize is that the people in front of us were slow and there was no one behind us for two holes so once he realized that he came back and apologized to the group we were with. Long story short, the marshall needs to relax.

Course looks good
2pm golf now hot deal. Totally worth it. Bunkers greens in pretty good shape. Was a hot quiet afternoon. Great pace. 3.5 hrs for 18.

Thank you for playing San Ramon Golf Club. We value your feedback about course conditions. We just did our spring aerification which is why some course conditions may have seemed unkempt over the weekend as we allow our grass to grow out before punching. We are working on replacing sand and improving quality of the bunkers. We hope you will return to San Ramon GC where we can offer a more fulfilling experience.
