Redwood Canyon Golf Course

Played it for the first time in a long time and will not return. More goose poop on the course than playable grass. Greens seemed okay but there were strange ridges from mowing and so much grass remnants it affected putt line and speed. It's a nice location if they put more time and $$ into the maintenance and care of this course.

The good news is they're using the Lake Chabot water, but the bad news is that they leave it in puddles all over the course. They don't replace the grass as it's just left bare under each puddle. Lots of spots you simply have to move your ball or risk scratching your club on the rocky dirt. There are very few signs of trying to reseed grass or replace sod anywhere on the course.

The dude behind the desk always gives me a hard time always asked me who my partner is that day and always tells me not to go out early. He doesn’t ask why people these questions or tell them not to go early. He needs to retire.

We teed off at 11:30 and our round took 4.5hrs.

Be nice if people played from the correct tees.

If your hitting your drive 200yrds, why play from the tips? And why wait for the green to clear when your 220yrds out???

This course usually plays pretty straight forward, but yesterday's big winds made the course treacherous. The group of younger golfers kept hitting their balls downwind into our group and on or over our group's green on 4 occasions.

I have played, what I still call, Willow Park since the 80’s. Yet, have not played in 15+ years.

It was great! I will put this in my monthly rotation.

Only complaint… slow service behind the counter, and the Men’s Room is disgusting!but don’t let that stop you!

If you want a nice quite, challenging course- this is it!

My first experience was absolutely amazing. Beautiful course nested in the hills. Well maintained greens. Pace was reasonable. BUT the restrooms are by far the filthiest I have ever seen on any golf course.

Decided to walk early morning before an appointment I had. Was the first on the course which was a really nice no stress round. I haven’t played here for a while and they have added concrete pathways on a couple of holes on the back nine which was great also had a personal best which made the round even better.

Tee mounts and car paths being upgraded..Fairways and the course itself will be in better condition soon.

The course is the Canyon and requires accurate drive. Most of the fairways are guarded by hilly slope on one side and long running creek on the other side with vey little rough area. Two front nine cart paths are being re-paved, and 3 tee boxes are also being rebuild, so Blue tees are being move up by 50-80yards

It’s by far the worst golf course I’ve played. I’ve been here before and I know it’s not a very nice green for awhile but wanted to try and give them another chance. It’s worse and the price is not that cheap too. I’m not coming back here even if they pay me to play and that’s how bad it is.

To the golf course: get your act together, will you play the place for the price you are charging? Forgot to take pictures
