Serene Layout
The course is the Canyon and requires accurate drive. Most of the fairways are guarded by hilly slope on one side and long running creek on the other side with vey little rough area. Two front nine cart paths are being re-paved, and 3 tee boxes are also being rebuild, so Blue tees are being move up by 50-80yards
Never coming back
It’s by far the worst golf course I’ve played. I’ve been here before and I know it’s not a very nice green for awhile but wanted to try and give them another chance. It’s worse and the price is not that cheap too. I’m not coming back here even if they pay me to play and that’s how bad it is.
To the golf course: get your act together, will you play the place for the price you are charging? Forgot to take pictures
Unfriendly staff
I used to enjoy playing golf here. Nice tree lines, nice golf course staff. But this time, the new staff gave me such a hard time as a Golfnow customer. I had a single reservation. He said I need to share the golf cart with someone because I made a reservation through Golfnow. He said that what’s happens for the Golfnow customer. He said he’ll charge extra for Golfnow if I ride by myself. I played with 3 “male” golfer and they’re riding by themselves. Some of them had tee time through Golfnow. but the staff didn’t tell them to share the cart. I was the only female golfer in that group and I was the only one was told to share the cart. The golf course was empty and there were dozens of carts available.
I felt very uncomfortable and it’s so sad that I have to give up to coming to this course.
Love this little beauty
Greens were in awesome shape. Weather was perfect. Pace fantastic (under 4 hours as a 4-some). I love this beautiful little course. Such a treat to play....especially early-mid weekday (quite open). I play from their tips (blues) and, when necessary to tee one up, hit 5 wood, 'cuz hit it about 250 average (don't even put driver in my bag). Greens are interesting, and strategy w/ trees and short doglegs makes it a fun, thinking round. Still, if have to pick the #1 reason to play here...it's the beauty of the nature in this gorgeous little "canyon".
Horrible Pace of Play! Absolutely brutal.
almost 6 hours to play a round is an abomination. Granted there are no rights to fast play at 12:20 pm tee time but the course layout and stacked tee times just cramp the groups. When we got to fifth there were (2) foursomes waiting on the tee. It never got better throughout the day. Very frustrating. Group behind was hitting balls into us which honestly at that point I get even though we were below 10 handicap group just waiting on greens to clear. Played this course 3 times - lost patience midway twice, yesterday completed it - not worth it. Course was muddy and tees were ran through.
Solid course
Good challenging course. Course conditions were okay, some mud due to current weather conditions but I believe that during the spring and summer the course would be in great shape. Long fairways mainly 420+ par 4/5
Easy, Flat Course — Cart Not Included in Listed Fee & No T-Mobile Coverage
There is no T-Mobile cell phone coverage on this course, so be prepared to be unreachable for 3–5 hours while you’re there.
Although the listed price may seem lower at first glance, the total cost is about the same as other nearby courses because the posted fee does not include a cart, which many other courses include.
The course itself is flat and easy, with some par 4 holes as short as 260 yards.
its relative simple walkable course
The course is fairly flat, but there are numerous water and sewer features throughout. Some of the sewer lines run along the edges of the course, making it impossible to retrieve your ball if it lands there. Many of the par 4 holes are quite short—around 260 yards—so be careful not to hit into other players, as the holes are close together.
COURSE CONDITIONS
The course had a few wet spots. Overall was in good condition. The greens were fast but, in good condition. Pace of play was slow.
Terrible check in experience
The guy working the check in at the pro shop was really thrown for a loop because I originally booked for 3 people, then added a 4th under my name as well when a friend wanted to join. Rude, unprofessional, and incompetent would be 3 words I would use to describe the guy at the pro shop. Definitely not going back on my own dime.
