About
Set in the heart of the Grand Strand's Lowcountry plantation area, Indigo Creek is laid out through large oaks and flowing creeks, especially the back nine, though the views have been somewhat spoiled by housing. The course is built over an old rice and indigo plantation with some nice elevation changes, lakes, waste bunkers and undulating greens. It's a Willard Byrd design, with Bermuda greens and a slope rating of 128.
Indigo Creek is another of those Myrtle Beach-area courses that fell into a disreputable state only to be saved by a new ownership group. One golfer who'd had a bad experience there described it after the refurbishment as the best-conditioned course in Myrtle Beach.
Indigo Creek isn't overly long at 6,744 yards (the shortest of its four sets of tees shortens to 5,921. It is an exciting course with an significant number of doglegs, bunkers and water. The back nine is set among giant oaks and gently flowing creeks.

Very nice!
Brother inlaw and I played this morning, never been before, very friendly staff, very nice coarse layout , got us out early. For the price this was an excellent coarse!
Really fun course
Fairways unfortunately were as hard as concrete. Greens were super hard and fast.
There is a need for more bathrooms on the course, 1 for the entire 18 is not enough.

The course, tee to green, was decent….the greens were among the worst I have ever played on…..no grass, more linoleum then earth.
A Great Way To Start Your Golf on the Beach
I’ve played Indigo many times over the years and it has always been improving condition wise👍. Fairways are not great in places and some greens need a pep up! Attractive layout with some challenging holes! The Par3’s are a tad lacklustre but still a challenge!
Course staff are great and very welcoming 👍. Pace of play was very poor, waiting on every tee and every 2nd/3rd shot😔. This is a MB decease 😡. Enjoy!!!!!
Very challenging,,water on most holes . Fairways in good condition, greens were fast and some were needing repairs. Overall, nice course
Needs Work
Greens are the story…they are in bad shape. Fairways were OK for this time of year. Tee boxes need a lot of work. Too bad because the track is good and they would have a really nice course IF they can address the above issues.

some of the green had some pretty bad spots , but they placed the pins accordingly, no real rough to speak of . Maybe it
grows in better later on in the season
