Glen Ivy Golf Club

it was the worse round that I had ever played at Glen Ivy. it took 6 hours! I understand sometimes course will be crowd. However, the course staff should help to maintain the pace of play. We had 2 groups of 4some in front of us who were at least 2 holes behind. We expected the staff would help to talk to them, but nothing happened. In back 9, few holes we had 3 groups were waiting at the tee box. it was just horrible.

I booked a tee time, then read reviews! The reviews reported the course had suffered from fungus but I already had booked a tee time. So i decided to make the best of it! ! The facilities were very nice and the staff were very friendly! The course was still suffering some patchy areas and the greens were sanded and slow. But overall I really enjoyed the course and the day! The course is recovering nicely, so I’ll give the ground crew a lot of credit!👏🏼 Great course! I recommend it!!!!

fairways are not bad, but greens are unplayable. like putting in sand. will totally mess up your putting game.

no water to drink, except the cart.

Read the other reviews. That was the last chance for me…live in the area and it’s obvious that they doesn’t care. Took 3 hours to play the front 9 on a course that has greens that are unplayable and the management response was basically oh well. If you don’t care then have at it because they don’t either….

Overall layout is okay but green management is bad.

The pro shop has an attitude of take it out leave it, I guess with all the complaints they get, that's the only thing they can do. I'm amazed at how many people still book this venue and don't know about the conditions.

One of my favorite courses. The greens are really bad right now and there a lot of patches near the greens. This course has had management changes and greens keeper changes I have heard. I hope they get it right.

The greens were in horrible condition and their plan to fix was unusual because the would just cut circles on turf to replace but it didn't work. It would be better to up charge green fees by 20.00 and keep greens immaculate.

I always considered Glen Ivy as one of the best in this area, but I was very disappointed yesterday.

The weather was perfect, the layout was very good, but green conditions were terrible. The greens were spotty, blotchy, uneven, long grass and even lack of grass! They were so slow even on the steep down hill putts. I could not imagine the condition being so bad for this nice course.

In addition, there was a very slow group of ladies two groups before our foursome. No marshall was on sight to speed up the play. It took 5 hours to complete the round.

Very disappointing!

I love this track. They’re trying to bring it back. The course is starting to respond to some of the changes but the greens are still pretty rough. Still it’s a great value right now.

The course is in atrocious condition. As a golf fanatic I will not be back until the conditions improve. I really enjoy playing this course. Love the layout and the entire friendly staff

TIS USED TO BE ONE OF MY FAVORITE COURSES, BUT WAS VERY SHOCKED OF THE CONDITION OF THE FAIRWAYS AND GREENS.

I WONDERED WHY THEY WERE CHARGING $55 DOLLARS, NOW I KNOW, AND I WOULDN'T HAVE BOOKED THIS IN THE CONDITION IT WAS IN.
