Glen Ivy Golf Club

We play this course every other week for 2 years now. The condition has never been worse. Half the greens are unusable. And now the fairways are dirt. Love the people and the layout, but holy cow. Can't do it any longer. Oh and they are charging full price.

Very bad fairways and Green condition

No body told me there are Temporary green

course is absolutely terrible compared to previous times I have played there. greens had numerous patches, more bumps than the rough, and at times looked like a tennis course with no grass at all. also looked like they tore up grass and replaced with a welcome mat. reading greens was useless as there would be so many bumps and patched grass that the ball would bounce in the air or turn directions. turned the day into a day of gimmes. there was also one hole where the green was literally in the fairway with spray paint around it to signify that. And that was still the best green of the day!

Staff was super nice tho, in the pro shop and bar area.

Course is in rough shape. Greens are almost unplayable and look diseased. I truly hope management can rescue this course and get it back in the shape it used to be. Great layout with a lot of potential but the greens need a total overhaul.

The entire course is unplayable.

Greens are either patched or infected by fungus.

Fairways are dirt pans.

I have played Glen Ivy for years and keep seeing it get worse and worse. This time it was as bad as I’ve seen it. Fairways were hitting off dirt, greens were bad every hole. Not returning to this course, not worth the money or time.

The course is in very poor condition, both the greens and fairways, and hasn't improved since last played about 10 months ago. Fungus has returned to the greens and this time the fairways are in worse shape. We used to like this course but after the round, we don't plan to return.

We suspect something's wrong with the management as the course used to be in such a great condition. In addition, since we booked the tee time via Golfnow, Golfnow should have posted an alert on the course's poor condition.

Took my brother here for his 40th birthday not realizing this course is in such bad condition. Absolutely not worth the $. I've played here 6x before and was never disappointed. Yesterday was a total bomb. The greens are not puttable. Sand along with many patches of dying grass.

I’d say 9 of the 18 are in really bad shape. Too much dirt and not enuf grass … even a few fairways are pretty bare

I have played this course many times in the past. Due to drought and renovations, this course is in very poor shape. In time, I hope this great layout returns with a much better course.

Course is in extremely poor shape. Worst greens I have ever played on by far. Not sure how they are getting away with charging more than $30 for 18 with the shape it’s in. Played the course in the spring and condition was much better, extreme drought certainly doesn’t help playing conditions… sad to see

This course is worst conditions of fairways and Greens.

They overcharged for this kinds of bad conditions of course. There is one temporary green during this season. But nobody told us about this temporary green.

GolfNow shouldn’t list this golf course on your website. Please remove this course out of your site.

The course is suffering from lack of water. The greens on the 2nd and some other greens were in bad shape. It appears there working on it. Overall, I still played well. There was a par 5 where they placed the pins on the fairway. That sums up the condition of the course.

The course is really in bad shape. They seem to be working hard and it getting it back with maintenance at most holes. Greens, fairways and tee boxes were all in bad shape. One hole the temporary green was in the middle of the fairway. i would still recommend it as a good course to get some practice in if paying 20-40 but not higher. Don't have high expectations. The pace was great but it was very hot.

Price was way to high for a course that was under full repair! There was maybe one green that did not have issues!.50 percent of fairways under repair!

Most greens were bumpy and had repair patches that were uneven. The par 3 5th hole is really under repairs and had dirt track and patches within 10 feet from the hole.

The course should be ashamed charging full$120 per round. Check out my photos and you be the judge. $120 is at par with some orange county courses that are in immaculate shape, Tustin ranch, strawberry ( well... Just$20 more maybe), but babe amd Ike for example are in tournament shape and the only complain your have is that the greens are too fast and too firm.

I played at whispering lakes just a couple of days ago, paid less than$50 and the greens are in much much better shape.

I see they have lowered their fees to $80 during weekends. It is still way overpriced for the conditions. Don't be taken by thinking it's a discount, it's not.

The greens were in really bad shape. And it really detracted from a fun course.

I hope to play again when the greens are healthy again.

The fairways were patchy at best. The majority of greens had a fungus and not in good condition.

This course should not be open with the condition that it's in. Completely ruined course due to no maintenance. It is sad to see a such nice course turned into this...
