Glen Ivy Golf Club

Looks like the greens got a very bad case of fungus and it ruined the 5 1/2 hour round. MUST FIX to be a sustainable business.

Poor conditions. Sanded greens, patchy greens, and was told the fungus issue from last fall hasn't been solved. Fairways are patchy and many dead spots - very little green and playable sots. We played the fairways as ground under repair. It was also slow and over a 5 hour round. Not happy....

It is sad to see this course in its current condition. Tee boxes are sandy and badly beat up. Fairways appear to be mostly dirt, the the course pro I talked to said that those areas are slashed to let the Bermuda grass grow in. The greens have dirt areas instead of grass. Though the course pro states it poi grass (please excuse the misspelling) instead of bent grass. For $100 a weekend round I expect much better conditions. I tried to get a refund, but the course pro said the rate was already discounted. Furthermore in my discussion with the course pro it seems that this course won’t be back to great conditions until next year, when the Bermuda grass is the predominant fairway grass. There are other courses in the area that are in better condition and for less money. I will wait a year to play this course again.

My wife and I are members at Glen Ivy. The course was getting back into shape but now it is in terrible shape! First, they let the range grass die. Looks so bad. The fairways are all patched up, dry in most places and full of weeds. There is only 1-2 greens that are in good shape. The rest are so bad that if you hit it within 10 feet of the pin, you have to call it good. No exaggeration!! I really have no idea what they are trying to do there. Took our friend there for his birthday and I was so embarrassed!!!

Poor condition of the course. It seems the course will be closed soon so they just don't care about the condition. Worse than the courses with less green fee. I will not play here again or will not recommend to anyone.

Fairways are dry, patchy and some spots soggy. Greens weren't rolled the fungus is affecting all holes, Not worth to pay excessive green fees for a course in the condition

The green condition is so poor, It's like playing on bumpy glass if you can imagine....

Great challenging course, but the greens were super trash. Patches galore, definitely didn’t expect the greens to be the worst part of the course. The 18th tee though was amazing!

You charge $90 for a course that every hole and every green is under repair? Thieves....

I couldn’t believe how horrible the conditions are....this used to be a preemo spot. Honestly the absolute worst condition. But it doesn’t stop there. They charged $90!!!!!! I feel like we were robbed! Seriously would have rather played Indian Hills or General Olds. Total crap hole and charging premium price? Are you people out of your skulls? Will not be returning......

MOST DISAPPOINTING ROUND EVER!!!!

From greatness to the near death of what was once a tour quality golf course 8 to 10 years ago. Slacking maintenance brought it to marginal condition 5 to 8 years ago and then off the edge of the cliff. The course is very slowly recovering so an effort is underway.

The course was in AWFUL condition. The greens were a disaster and the fairways werent much better. I can believe we had to pay 99 dollars for a course basically under repair.

We were do disappointed we drove to oak Quarry which is 20 times the course and only paid 67 dollars at 1230.

WONT be playing Glen Ivy any time soon again
