Fungus is really bad, but this course is normally a ton of fun. Greens are in very rough shape. Otherwise, the rating on the course and conditions would be very positive.

Green are the worst I have seen, fairway was dry and many dead patches.

I really disappointed today green condition was the worst. I got reservation through golf now as amount of $70.00 but staff at course asked us pay $59.40. I played several times this course but I really not recommended this time because course condition is similar to less than $30 course.

My favorite course until a few weeks ago. Now it is in horrendous shape! Can’t believe they charge more than 20 to play here. Greens are a joke and the fairways look like Cresta Verde, no that’s an insult to Cresta Verde. Save your money and play somewhere else.so sad,,,,,

Be aware currently the course has several issues with greens. There is a fungus that’s killed two greens and it’s also effected several others. There’s one green that the completely tore out. Talking to the Marshall they are doing everything possible to correct it. I know they will get it fixed but I believe it will take 6-10 months to do so. I’ll be back for sure in the future but I’ll do some research prior to playing again.

The greens were in bad shape, they are working on it, but how did they let them get in such bad condition??

All the greens are in very poor condition. Looks like some sort of fungus problem. The y are half dead. The course is working on it but I don't see a quick answer

The tee boxes also need work. Patchy grass and lots of bare ground

I like this course in its normal condition. A very nice route with interesting and some challenging holes.

Staff is always great.

Hope they get back into decent condition soon

More than 1/3 of the greens are in really bad shape, told they are the result of fungus. Don't recommend this course in the near future due to the condition of the greens.

Additionally, Golfnow should have posted an alert about the condition of the greens.

They are reparing the greens, it's like putting on a graval driveway. Don't waste your time or money until the repairs are completed

First time coming here the staff were very nice but unfortunately this course is under a lot of maintenance right now and needs some serious TLC. We were not notified of this until we were checking in at the course so we had no choice but to play since we drove out over an hour. Most of the greens did not have any grass making it near impossible to approach & putt. The heat seems to have really taken a toll on the course.

The overall layout of the course is very nice with plenty of elevation changes and what could be a very fun course to play if the conditions were better.

First time playing this course and although the course layout was great and I shot my second lowest round ever, a 78, the greens were in the worst shape I had ever seen in my 30 years of playing golf. Every single green on the front nine was in terrible shape due to fungus and maybe a total of 3 greens out of 18 were in decent shape. This course was not worth the price due to the greens being in such bad shape. I will go back and play it again once they get the greens in good shape.

Horrible!! Dried, brown patchy, clumpy fairways and even worse greens. Staff said greens were infected with a fungus, were over watered and bubbled. I really can't articulate how horrible the greens were. Sad.

Conditions are really bad right now.. got an email saying they’re improving the course. So once they take care of it, it’ll be one of the better golf courses but for now, worst shape I’ve seen a golf course maybe ever. Beautiful layout so hopefully they take care of this wonderful course. And the staff is so friendly and place is so nice!!

Played ivy in the past and loved it , not sure if it’s Covid related , management related , or lack of maintenance, the course layout has always been great, but conditions were 2 star at best, greens were beat up from 1-18 , fairways were spotty. Still with that said these courses are charging 50$ plus , had I known what I was about to play I would have expected at least 50% off.

What a disappointment. Course had a 60 person tournament thrown into the rotation causing the pace of play to crawl. No Marshall’s to be seen… started 20 mins late and ended up being nearly a 6hr round. If that wasn’t bad enough the greens were in the worst conditions I’ve ever seen. Something definitely wrong with the greens and/or greens keepers. They were so damaged that they need to close the course to fix them. I’d recommend playing elsewhere until they figure it out. Not worth even the twilight rate.

The greens are in need of some serious help. If they didn’t give people a discount of their green fees it would be a wasted trip to the course. It will be a while before I return to play this course.

I don’t mind paying a little extra for golf to enjoy a nice course. I had never played Glen Ivy and I’m not impressed. I thought the course condition would have been a lot better considering the price but the course was in pretty bad shape. 18 has a raised tee box and is the best hole on the course in my opinion.

Let it be known you were warned from the 40 other reviews. The course is in TERRIBLE shape. Discount at the pro shop is in good faith. But the course is in bad shape. Not sure what happened to the greens, but it’s worse than the guys in the stop describe. I hope they can bounce back. Course is always a pleasure when in somewhat decent condition.
