Glen Ivy Golf Club

First time there and we loved it! The course conditions were excellent and the staff was very friendly. Pace of play was good for the most part. The GPS in the cart worked well (sometimes a bit annoying when it would shut down cart and make you reverse if you were even a small bit off track).

We will definitely return!

Glen ivy is a good track fun layout, greens are fast but need some rain and perimeter work , no one fixes their ball marks which is a shame ! The lay out is fun and challenging, the pace of play is horrendous as most of these eastern pacific players have to take forty practice swings on every shot , Hunt for golfballs and find it appropriate to give their spouses lessons during the round ! Why ? I have no idea but they’re truly clueless regarding pace of play ! Fun track, great staff, but they need Rangers !

I really enjoyed the course! 15 greens had nothing wrong with them. Tee boxes where very nice. Nearly a perfect day of golf..

Once we got to hole 6 things slowed down big time. First we where 6 minutes behind pace according to the GPS in the cart and once we got to 10th hole we had to contact the pro shop due to a 5 some which was is unusual but that was hardly the problem a group of 3 husbands would wait for the group of the 3 wives basically creating a 9 cart backup on every freaking hole! See picture attached. This was a very poor experience for such a nice course and felt like this could have been avoided by an ambassador or better pro shop strategy.

Needed to rent left handed golf clubs for guests in town. I called a day ahead and they assured me they have plenty of them. Went to the course and they had none. Apparently they were all being regripped. All... at the same time..! Oh and it took them a half hour of searching before they figured that out. While waiting we bought some BLTs for lunch and the bacon was basically leather.

Waited 15 minutes between each shot. Need to space out the tunes better.

Even it was very windy and cold, we still had such a fun day !

Marshall was non existent. Nobody from the course was telling people to play from appropriate tees. We were stuck behind a rude Asian 4some that wouldn’t wave us up on the Par 3’s. We got tired of waiting for them thinking they could hit a 250 yd fairway shot that we would hit into them. They finally got the message!

Just because they got a dozen Pro V1’s for Christmas doesn’t make them a scratch golfer.

Such a fun place to play. The pace is great. The marshals are friendly and fair. Carts have course layout and gps. The staff is very friendly as well!

POP was about 4 hours and 15 min

Got out right on time which is a great sign right off the bat. After having to wait on the group in front of us for the first 3 holes the course really opened up and we never waited again. Course was in pretty good shape with an occasional dark spot here and there but nothing too bad, the bunkers were perfect which is a rarity now a days and the greens (except for hole 5) rolled true and at about a 9.

I will def be back soon (Jan 3rd to be exact)

One of my favorite courses in So. Cal. did not dissapoint.
