Glen Ivy
Course was in great shape; has a lot of personality and great views. Really enjoyed the round!
WARM BUT FUN!
97 Degrees today. But the course is in real good condition. Greens not fast or slow but watered real good. When I did hit the green the ball stuck real well. Back nine more difficult. Really have nothing derogatory to say about Glen Ivy. Go play the course, its an A...
Excellent course
We had a great time. The food in the clubhouse was very good and, where most courses don’t have a bev cart M-Th, they had one, and it was very welcoming.
Aside from a few greens that had oil on them as a result of a leaking greens roller or other machine, the course was in great condition.
The new range is awesome.
Good Day at Glen Ivy
Have played this course on many occasions, but the conditions on this day were about as good as I can remember them, especially for mid summer. Rumor is there is new management and have put some money into the course, and it shows. Revamped range, banquet area, and restaurant. Only knock was the somewhat slow play. We got done in about 5 hours. Looks like Glen Ivy is becoming one of the premier courses in the IE. Will definitely play again.
Great public course
The golf course is in great shape.
It definitely has some challenging holes.
#18 is a hole you won’t ever forget.
Hope to be back real soon
Country Cub feel
great course conditions and layout. Very playable for a night teens golfer. greens had recently been aerated so they were a little bumpy other than that the course was in excellent shape.
Played early afternoon round and didn't see many other golfers until hole 11.
Fun day..
Great staff one issue
I play this course weekly with my gold card. The course is in fair conditions. Staff is amazing all around From pro shop to starters. Today experience was amazing.over the top. From Camren picking up my clubs at my car and Brent checking me in on time at the starter with a nice cold water in the heat. But the one bad experience I had was when I returned the cart At the cart barn with a person named Jeremy. He gave me a issue because the cart was a little dirty.
Tee time bookings
This review is solely based on teetime movement. Been golfing for a very long time and booking through Golfnow regularly. For some reason glen ivy when booked through golfnow seems as if my teetimes are always moved when i check in. About 6 months ago, i had booked a teetime for roughly 6:30 and couple days later was notified that they had moved my teetime to 10:30. I called immediately and was told that there was a problem with my time and they would try and accommodate a better time.. i was able to play about 7:30 that occasion. Today 6-23-19 had a teetime at 6:45 and was told they had us at 6:54... the group that we got paired up with had the same issue... In the words of the starter, “GOLFNOW DOES SOME WEIRD THINGS”. IMO i dont think its golfnow fault, glen ivy doesnt uphold peoples teetimes. Be aware. Also carts shutoff 10-15 feet before cart signs, way to slow down pace of play..
Golf at Glen Ivy!
I always enjoy playing here. Nice to see water in the lake in 18!
Great
Had a great day of golf. Course was in excellent condition. Staff was very accommodating. Pace of play - done in 3 1/2 hours - group of three - 2 high handicappers. Strongly recommend this course
Dry Dry Dry
Need water on the course,
It was 96 degrees.
Course was in good shape
No Marshall slow play
Summer is here
Course conditions were perfect and the pace of play was reasonable but the Southern California summer has finally kicked in. It was very sunny and the temperature was probably over 100 out on course (my truck temp said 97 in the shade). We teed off at 704 and it was pretty warm by the time we got to the 2nd hole. Additionally, the bugs were out in full force. We love this course but typically only play here over the winter months as it get's very very hot out in the inland empire of Southern California.
Loads of improvements
Haven’t played here in 4-6 months due to green fees being a little on the high side throughout the day on the weekends. But they were much more reasonable starting mid morning this last week so decided to give it a go. It’s always been a great layout-great holes, lots of fun. The greens were in great shape as was most of the course. They have also made lots of improvements to the grill, driving range, and they have new carts. Hats off to the “newish” owner!! $60-65 is a good/very fair value for what you get here
This happen to me some time ago at Los Serranos. I booked an 11:30 tee time via golfnow, but when I got to the course, they said I had an 11:54 tee time. I showed the guy at the counter my confirmation from golfnow. He said golfnow doesn't have their tee sheet, and golfnow tries to find a time as close to what you requested as possible and I should in the future book through their website instead of golfnow. If you get a confirmation, doesn't that mean that you got the tee time you purchased? Bizzare! Anyway, in the future, I would book via Glen Ivy's website, which is hooked into golfnow anyway, but if this happens again, you can tell them you want the time you reserved on THEIR website and not golfnow.
