Glen Ivy Golf Club

From upon entering the club house, you’re met with some great scenery. But I was super bummed out that the pro shop really stacks the players so close together! The pace of play was probably the worst I’ve ever experienced. The GPS system on the cart kept going off saying we were 7 mins off pace of play… but we couldn’t control that with the fore some in front playing slowwwwwwwwww. We started at 12:30 and didn’t even get to finish the back 9. So yea definitely wouldn’t go back to this course.

I really love this course. I always try to tee off early to avoid too many people in front of me. I Teed off at 7:27 this morning and as I write this , I’m sitting waiting for 2 groups ahead of us to tee off. It’s after 11am and barely on the back 9. So so slow. Maybe I’ll tee off at 6am text time. I love the staff. Ruth is so so sweet and always a pleasure when I see her.

The course that never lets you down!! The layout goes this way and that! Up and down it takes you and oh what fun it is. The beauty of the surroundings and views are amazing. The fairways and greens are very well maintained, congratulations to the management. They’ve got it all correct and it shows.

Don’t miss this course. You’ll love it too!!

Do not waste your money at this course. The “all inclusive” deal is causing the back 9 to slow down. People are going to the restaurant to get their all inclusive food and slowing the pace of play way down. When you call the pro shop to complain, they say there’s nothing they can do. A 4 hour round turns into a 5 hour round because people do not care about pace of play.

Heard so many horror stories about temporary greens and course condition I stayed away for a while. But now I’m back and yesterday around was quite satisfying and I must say the gentleman in the front desk was a One man solution center. Overall, course in decent shape pace play was pretty good. They punched a couple of weeks ago, so the grains aren’t quite where they should be or else I’d give us a stronger rating.

The layout and overall scenery is outstanding, there are just some areas around the fairway and the Green on #5 that need work. The finishing holes 17 & 18 are two of the best you will find anywhere. Hats off to anyone who can walk all 18, overall nice place that has great promise.

Glen Ivy golf course is my favorite golf course. Especially the landscape.

Glen Ivy has always been one of my top 3 favorite golf courses. Course conditions were really good, coupled with excellent greens. The greens were pure and the ball rolled true, except hole #5 par 3 which had a fairway makeshift green. Overall, we had a really good time.

I just played here for the first time, and it was my best golfing experience so far. I paid around $50 for a midday tee time, which included lunch from their grille and range balls. You can also drive your car or cart right up to the stalls on the driving range, which is also shaded. The course itself is the most beautiful course you’ll find at this price range. There are elevation changes, gaps, and water hazards that are challenging and beautiful to look at. The sand in their bunkers were actually sandy and soft. Even their cart paths between holes were nice to look at. I’ve seen some reviews criticizing their greens, but they must have done a great repairing them because the greens I played there looked perfectly fine to me. Each hole was beautiful, serene, and presented different challenges. Whether you’re a high or low handicapper, I would recommend this course and believe you’ll love it there. The pace of play is enforced there though, so don’t spend too much on any hole. If you lose balls a lot, bring a good amount with you so you can drop a ball whenever you need to and not spend your round looking for balls. Don’t be that golfer, and you’ll have a great time here.

From the staff in the Pro Shop to my man Mark at the starters desk, these guys are quality! The course was in great shape, the greens a little bumpy but true. Overall a very quick round on a very hot day! i love the character of this course!

We hadn't played the course for two years due to poor conditions. A friend played recently and recommended it. We were very please with the improvements (aside of course from temporary hole #5).

Pace of play was outstanding, course in great condition. Can't wait to tee off again on hole 18 awesome views!

We love playing here, but for the first time we experienced extremely slow play on the back nine. We played the front in 2 hours and the back took 3. At times there were 4 groups on each hole, with not a marshall in sight to speed things up. Yet, we had a loud bell ring on our GPS twice, telling us to keep up with the group ahead, and the twosome behind was hitting into us. If we were any closer to the group ahead, we'd have been playing with them! Kinda put a damper on the round!
