Sierra Lakes Golf Club

Impeccably maintained, lots of water features, clean bathrooms. Started at 1630, and by the time we got to the 15th hole, at 1945, they had turned the sprinklers on the greens and pushed all golfers forward, from behind us, causing a backlog. We had to pass up playing 15,16 & 17, finishing on 18, with the sprinklers wetting the green. Other than that, we had a nice time.

Course is in good condition right now. Greens were rolling true and fairways were great. Had a great time and will 100% play there again!

Every year I have to play this course on my. Birthday. The greens are always on point and pace of play is great. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Wish there was a cart girl and the restaurant were available until 5pm for us twilight golfers.

Great shape but kind of pricey. Nice driving range but no pitching or sand practice. They really should have some.

Amenities are great. Course can play long if you need that (lol). Not a good place to play if it is windy.

great condition golf course open to the public, but that condition comes at a price. I can only play it if there is a Hot Deal cooking.

Good driving range but no chipping area. For the price it really should be full featured golf experience.

That said the layout is great and the condition is near perfect. I'll play when HOT DEAL is available.

I’m a weekly visitor here and i just can’t help but complains bout the pace of play, and for seconds, i was Paired with two gentlemen that had zero golf etiquette. Talking and laughing during back swings, showing up at 9 am stoned. Not a good experience at all

Friday afternoon pace of play was terribly slow. Several groups getting hammered, oblivious to pace of play. Marshalls out there driving around did very little to help.

I play here often. The course is really fun and not overly challenging but still has some tough holes. The greens upkeep is outstanding and for the amount of play that the course has. Staff is friendly and the food at the restaurant is great. If you are looking for a good course in the IE, consider this as one of the better options out there.

We play this course in a regular basis. It is in the best shape I have ever seen it in. Fairways are full and nicely mowed. Rough is consistent. Bunkers were in decent shape- but consistency from one to the next was not on par.

Overall good experience. Only complaint is they shut down food at 3pm. Other than that. Was great.

Sierra Lakes is a fairly open track that is kept in reasonably good shape. The fairways are not lush, but they are very playable, with few bare spots,. The rough is not terribly punishing. The greens are true and moderately fast. The traps, which are present but not overwhelming, leave something to be desired, as very firm areas alternate with soft areas, but again, they are a little better than average for the IE. There is almost no water to worry about. Food/drink amenities are poor. Biggest issue: If you are looking for any management at all of playing speed of the players around you, this isn't your kind of course. Several very slow foursomes in front of us went unchallenged, and it became a 5 hour round when it really didn't have to be.

Course is in really good condition. Tee boxes are all great except the pa r 3’s (of course). Greens were running a little slow but overall nice. Fairways were in good condition the ball was running out nicely. Got to play by myself at 1:30pm as hardly anyone was there. Ended up having to wait a little on the back 9 but still finished under 4 hours. The breeze helped it from being super hot overall would definitely recommend to play during the week as the weekend rates could be steep.

This course used to be really well maintained. For the upgrade in fees to play this course is not worth it. This place better watch it or it will become a digger course. Marshals need to push the rate of play. No cart girl. Range not maintained always have to hit off the mats now. I would rather spend 150.00 a round then play here anymore. To many grounds keep in the way and doing work during a round.
