Sierra Lakes Golf Club

I love Sierra Lakes. The greens and tee boxes are some of the best for public courses in all of Southern Cali for the price. I don’t mind paying $60 for a decent public track but man oh man, the pace of play here is the worst I’ve ever experienced. I’ve played a few times over the past year and yesterday might be the last time I play Sierra unless I’m the first 5 groups out. 3 group backup on the 3rd hole and basically was the case for the rest of the round. Typical over booking I assume ? It’s such a shame because the tee boxes and greens are so good…

Please help with the pace of play. 4 hours and 45 minutes isn’t enjoyable BUT waiting on every single shot IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. There’s a difference.

Quality course with challenging layout enjoyable for any golfer at a reasonable cost. Most certainly look forward to my next round of golf here!

This course always plays well and is kept in very good condition. My only complaint is the snack bar at the turn.

Members of our group wanted some food- so we stopped at the snack bar. We were the only ones in snack bar. The guys ordered breakfast burritos- nothing special. The order took almost 20 minutes to complete- so needless to say- we lost our place on the course. There has to be some resolution to this issue- maybe a phone at the 9th tee- or at least a sign with the phone number to the snack bar.

This course can be very difficult to play on windy days. The area is known for strong winds, but this time of year the winds are extreme.

18 holes took almost 6 hours. Pace of play was horrible. No Marshal to keep things moving. Course looked great and fast greens but pace was a killer.

Fairways and greens are to die for but not worth the big bucks in hurricane winds

Always fun playing Sierra Lakes. If the winds start blowing very challenging course

Staff warned us about the conditions. It was extremely windy by fun.
