Too slow and they put too many players so we have to every hole
Pace of playing is too slow and they put too many players and they put 7 minutes for each team so that the pace of play is too bad.
I do not like this management.
Ok but not for the price
Been a while since coming to Sierra Lakes . The course itself was ok , but did have more than a few bare spots in the fairways and rough around the greens. Bunkers were ok , sand was moist from drizzle so little hard to judge .
Tee boxes look to be in the middle of over seeding so they were not very desirable , especially on Par 3s or short par 4’s. I am sure they will be nice in a month or two but weird they did all at once . Might as well put some mats out on some holes so people are damaging the new seed which isn’t mature yet .
Staff was just ehhh …. I could overlook some issues but for the price point I expect a little better . For $10 more Goose Creek is 10xs better .
Worst place of okay in the Inland Empire
I live alongside this course and played it several times. It's always slow. This last round was my last time. I won't come back. 2hours and 45 min to play the front 9. We quit at hole 15 when the time was 4.30 hours long already. Don't come here, it's the worst.
Great course
A lot of courses are suffering from lack of water but this place was in great shape. A few spots on a couple fairways but nothing that would ruin your day. One of the best courses I’ve played in So-Cal. I’m an hour away from there but i will be visiting often. I recommend Sierra Lakes
Slowest round in 30 years of playing golf
Starter was 30 minutes behind, and pace of play was 3 hours for 9 holes. I allotted 5 hours for the round and walked off after 13 holes, as I had another appointment to get to. This wasn’t an issue of slow play, it was course overcrowding. Tee times are obviously way too tight, as there were 3-4 groups per hole throughout. I am very disappointed to pay $60 for a round and only get 13 holes in due to mismanagement. Resort courses on the weekend are not this slow.
Excellent Course.
First time playing and was impressed!! Fairways and greens are in excellent condition. Fairly open Course and not extremely challenging. Overall great course for the price and condition. Definitely recommended.
Sierra Lakes great experience
Greens are in great shape but a few of the fairways are not in good shape
Nice Layout But
I played this course on Saturday, October 2nd, 2021 @ 9:00 a.m., Range, Clubhouse, Practice Green and Golf Carts all above average for courses in the area. We were paired up with another twosome, a couple of former college baseball players playing from the blues, since I was playing with a new golf buddy we decided to play the whites and have a relaxing day. Course conditions, bunkers, fairways, rough all were normal. The greens had been punched/sanded so that can tell you what that entailed. Like other reviewers I wish that they would provide some discount or rebate based on no notification of green conditions and charging full price both Golf Course and Golfnow. Alas, that will probably never be addressed due to the shear number of golfers, demand and profitability golf course are geared for now during the pandemic. There was a cart girl which was nice, we saw her twice during the round. Pace of play for the front 9 was horribly slow, as we were behind a threesome that had no business playing from blues/whites, as well as playing drinking games during their round. At the turn they were all less than 100 yards from the tee box, and hitting multiple balls on the front 9, the twosome we played with started howling at them to allow us to play through and we flew past them off the tee box, happy to get by, as we were on pace for a 6 1/2 hour round. We played the back 9, no one in front of us in under at or under 2 hours. It would be nice if a marshall was on course that moved these types of players over. It was an enjoyable round through it all and I hope to play again once the greens are back to normal.
Good trip around the track
Conditions are right at a great value course. Check-in was easy. Warm up for comfortable. Fairways and greens are in good shape (did not face any bunker shots). The beverage cart was well stocked and made two passes for us during the round.
First Time at Sierra Lakes Golf Course
This was my first time at Sierra Lakes Golf Course and I had a great time. The course was challenging, frustrating and kind of long. I made a mistake of thinking I could grab some food from the food court quickly and return to the course. That didn't happen and it kind of threw off the rest of the day. We pretty much had to wait at every hole thereafter. Overall, I had a great time and look forward to coming again.
