Always have a good time playing here and course condition was great.

Wind makes it challenging.

I will not come back to this course to play. They are booking tee times every 7 minutes. This is the second time I have had to speak with employees about this and they just tell me the manager Rick is the one to talk to. Our tee time was at 12:15 and we did not tee off until 12:35. They also didn’t have carts immediately available for us because of their over booking. They refuse to change their tee times further apart. Until the manager fixes the pace of play this will continue to happen. It’s a shame because it is a very nice course and the staff is friendly. Manager needs to stop being so money hungry. Rick needs to be better.

The course design, conditions, staff, amenities, and ambience are excellent. Greens fees are okay, maybe $10-15 too high. Only problem is pace of play .. the layout/difficulty doesn’t warrant 5+-hour rounds. A marshal or two would (or should) help get the rounds down to 4.5 hours at worst.

We had to play from the forward tees on 80% of holes.

This was our first time at Sierra Lakes and we really enjoyed the layout and course conditions. The greens were challenging but in great shape too. However, the biggest bummer was the pace of play. We had an 11:15 tee time and they were 30 minutes behind. We waited 2-3 groups deep on most holes in the front nine, but the pace picked up in the back nine. It was still a 5:30 round.

We were scheduled to play at 1153AM. The course was saturated with players as a group of 80 had started teeing off in the morning and a group of 25 were already in front of us at 1153AM! The starter advised it would be at the very least over an hour of delay to tee off! With Daylight Saving time in effect, we would nit finish in daylight. The golf club staffed offered us cancellations and we accepted. So it was not a good day!

I will say that this was unusual for this course which is normally a great course to play with a very nice staff but my partner and I and a third GolfPass member playing with us will not book any times at Sierra Lakes unless they are earl in the morning going forward. I am still trying to get thru to GolNow to get my refund!

I treated a friend to a round who hasn’t played in years and it was his first time at Sierra Lakes. We both played well and had a great time. Course is in great shape and staff are always friendly and helpful. Sierra Lakes is a real gem in the IE. We are especially appreciative that they have a refreshment lady out on a weekday morning.

The pace of play is horrible. I paid $89. I expect faster pace. Not coming back.

Solid course with great views! Challenging but not too challenging. Great layout and unreal signature par 3 on the back!
