Tierra Rejada Golf Club

My buddy and I have been playing here recently because it’s a good 1/2 way meeting spot for us , me in LA and him in SB. Today my buddy was running late and showed up mentioning he hadn’t had coffee yet. We are the 2nd tee time and the snack shack wasn’t open yet. We went up to chip balls before our tee and Keith walked up and said don’t worry, once the girls get here I will send a cup out to you. He wrote down our cart number and walked away. Sure enough just on the 2nd fairway a nice young man pulls up and hands my buddy a cup of coffee. AMAZING SERVICE RIGHT ON THE FAIRWAY LoL!

Not only that and probably the most important thing, the course is in great shape and we played in perfect pace all morning. Saw the group in front of us on every par 4 and 5 but never had to wait.

There was a twosome up our butts on a few holes but they were playing fast and probably could have backed off and had a better time but that’s there fault not ours. We were right in pace with the group ahead and finished under 4 hours:-).

Although temperature is hovering around low 90s, the actual feel is almost perfect, maybe thanks to the incessant breeze. If you feel the course is a little short, take black or blue tees. You will then say this is a challenging course. A recommendable course with an ambient clubhouse restaurant where most of your orders will make you always visit.

Found it challenging but not overly hard. Rode the Burgundy’s at 6:30 am weekday. Lots of undulations and interesting approach shots to be had.

I like this course as it's challenging. You may make a birdie at a hole one day but you may make a triple bogey at the same hole the other day. Greens are not easy, too but I truly like this course. One thing I should note is you may need to allow a single player or two-some players behind your group, your game will be then quite fun.

It is always fun & challenging to play this golf course!

The par 3s are short yardage but require precision.

The par 4s & 5s have different doglegs and elevations that will test all your skill levels.

One of the best courses I ever played, We really enjoyed the course. We will definitely go back to play golf again.

We went out at 6 AM expecting to have a quick round the starter put foursomes of slow old woman in front of us and they were playing at a snails pace not cool I would never go back this course again

Having made the decision to begin my comeback after back surgery 7 years ago this course was selected after my 9th round of golf because 1. I never played it. 2 I like playing away from where I live and this offers some excitement while driving up. 3. I like challenges. In saying this however this was probably the wrong time to play a 131 slope rated course. Don't get me wrong. This has nothing to do with the course but more to do with where my game is at this point in time. I have some targeting issues and this course's front 9 demand effective targeted shots. I will get there and return soon for sure. The cost is certainly fair to ay such a beautiful course. Here's to a hopeful 10 strokes better next time. Cheers! Props and see you soon!!

This course is a great value for what I paid. Suprisingly, today this was cheaper than some area courses that I consider inferior. Course was in good condition, greens were receptive and fairways were in good shape. There are plenty of tee boxes for all abilities and the resaraunt has good food.

Requires all clubs. Should pay a big attention to the direction of teeing grounds inducing slice or hook. Elevated greens may require more clubs to attack. Course familiarity pays off.

The layout of the course, while interesting and challenging, leads to long waits on many holes. I quit after number 10 since we were already approaching 3 hours and I could see groups stacked up on the next tee box.

Early in the summer and it’s already in bad shape. Greens are good but that’s about it. Traps are like asphalt. Fairways are not good. Won’t play there again till at least next spring. They’ve almost completely lost it.
