About
Nestled in the foothills of eastern Ventura County, Tierra Rejada Golf Club is known for its picturesque setting and stunning views. The club overlooks the Reagan Presidential Library. Tierra Rejada is unique in that it offers a formidable test for low handicappers from the championship tees but it is also accessible to mid and high handicappers thanks to the Players Course. The 5,600-yard Players Course is a "course within a course" that was designed to keep the game fun for golfers who may not be looking for a tough test. Even though it may be shorter, both golf courses still provide a challenge. There are plenty of ups and downs throughout thanks to the rolling hills and there are a variety of hazards coming into play including water and strategically placed bunkers.

Great Course
Pace of Play: Even though we waited on 90% of our shots, we still finished right at 4 hours. So although the round seemed long, it really wasn't.
Course Conditions: Greens--great! Fast and true, but they held good shots. Tees-- a bit rough, but certainly playable. Bunkers--inconsistent but playable. Fairways and rough--great for this time of year.
Staff Friendliness: Could have been better, but they weren't rude or inattentive. So they were good.
Value for the Money: Outstanding! You can't beat a round for $16. Unbelievable.
Course Layout: I love this course. No complaints.
Off Course Ameneties: Kitchen was closed by 4:40 PM with VERY limited pre-packaged options. Great pro shop. Driving range netting is in SERIOUS need of repair. The entire right side of the nets, where every slicer is hitting their poor shots on the range, putting you in peril when you are in the middle or left side of the fairway after your tee shot on #1. Dangerous.
As many of the golf courses in the nation, Tierra Rejada is facing financial hurdles and they are doing a great job maintaining the course and keeping the course in good playing condition
Terrible layout
This course is in horrible shape and the layout is beyond “odd.” I will not ever play this course again.
Tierra Rejada Strikes Back!
I love this course. Yes, it is difficult. Yes, it is challenging. But it has helped me see the value of course management because I will never drive a ball 300! It's a fun course and the staff are really cool.

Challenging Course
This course requires you to think about each shot as course management is very important. There are lots of ups and downs and some spectacular views. When I played it was November so the condition of the course was in transition. When the rains hit this winter the grass is sure to go totally green. But the condition was good and the greens putted true. I will definitely play it again two or three times a year.
Great layout
The course layout is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Conditions of fairways need attention and greens need to be rolled with some slow bumpy spots.
Not as good as it used to be
Been playing here since it opened. The fairways are getting worse and the greens, which are usually really good, were too soft which made them bumpy and furry.
Tierra Rejada is always a challenging experience with accommodating staff.
Utilizing “GolfNow with their “Hot Deals” made it all the more better.
Great course. Friendly staff. Great scenic views. Bring extra balls unless your straight and fairly long. Always like playing here.
