Tierra Rejada Golf Club

I've played Tierra Rejada about 7 years ago and thought to give it another try. 29.00 plus fees for Sunday round was hard to pass up. Course was in poor condition. Fairways choppy with dead spots and GUR everywhere. Even when you found grass it wasn't cut or tight. Greens very slow and tons of ball marks everywhere. Felt like a 9 hole muni but for the price I can't be too critical. I can't imagine paying a penny more.

I was a single player between two 3somes what's up ? the three ahead waved at me .the 3 behind were slow an way behind so I skipped 7. an quit after 9. not fun

Course can be difficult but will challenge your skills. If you score well there, your game is above average.

I always enjoy a challenging round of golf at Tierra. The course lays out well but difficult at times. The head pro is great and the grounds crew do a very good job. If one thing could be improved it would be policing some of the slow players that straggle in time to time and can kill your rhythm of play.

Starter called us out 15 minutes early. I went in to ask if we could stay on time. He said he had two large groups behind us and needed us on the tee. Course was in greAt shape. Pace of play was fine. We caught up with group in front of us on the 15 hole and they had caught up with group in front of them. They teamed us up with a guy who was playing from the blue tees. He should have been at the forward tees. I know he lost at least 10 balls. Lol. Told me the marshal was going to come out and tell us we were playing slow. I guess he did not realize it was him. I was constantly having to watch for his ball and help him find it. Almost ruined the day. I finally had to tell him we were not the ones behind that it was him and rather than is letting people play through that had no where to go he should stay behind and play with the twosome behind us. After that he shut up. I hope I am never teamed up with someone like that again. By the way there were two twosomes behind us the entire round. No large groups.

Great layout, pretty tough course. A little dry, but still doing a good job at keeping it playable.

Great place .Just a little dry.Bunkers could use some care.The place kind of grows on you. Away below 90 degrees Perfect

This course is one of the most beautiful courses in Valley area. There are lots of challenging courses!

This course deserves +4 stars!!!

The course Is getting baked , which is a shame. Hard to get a good lie even on the fairway

I really like to play here. One of my faves. However today the fairways were pretty ugly. Looks like an issue of not enough water. Greens were good. Maybe saving money, maybe a water war. Played fine. Still like it here for right price.

Tierra Rejada is a nice course with some really beautiful views. Staff very friendly. TJ's Grill has good food.

The front nine is no joke. Definitely a big boy course with lots of elevation and intimidating hazards. Number 3 is a particularly tough hole: a long par 4 with a tee-shot over a big ravine to a narrow landing area that you cannot see from the tee box. The back nine is a significantly less challenging but still very enjoyable. One of the reasons I like playing this course is because when I hit my ball into the junk, I can usually find a few ProV1's when I go looking for it. One of the better courses in Ventura County.
