About
Angeles National Golf Club is the only Nicklaus Design course in Los Angeles County. It is tucked away in the Angeles National Forest. This championship course is known for being one of the area's most challenging with tough greens that are lightning fast and more than 50 strategically placed bunkers. There are also two lakes and a creek that come into play. Golfers should be prepared for long par 4s and demanding carries over ravines and barrancas. Not only is it a golf course that requires length, you'll also need accuracy. Angeles National Golf Club finishes with a par 4 that plays from an elevated tee alongside the rushing creek that edges the left of the fairway and to the right of the landing area there's a deep bunker. To the right, the green is bordered by deep grass hollows and bunkers and there is a lake to the left.

This must have been a great course in its day. Fairway’s are burnt. No beverage cart or halfway house. Pro shop very nice. Great reception by staff. Greens very nice but lots of fresh ball marks. No Marshall and we were about 20 minutes over time. Would not be hard to bring this up to snuff with just a little TLC.

Never play here at angeles National
Worst golly course ever and for 175 a round it’s a joke. Pace of play is 5:30 -6 hours. The course conditions are horrible and they close the snack bar at 2 pm and everyone goes home. It’s the most ridiculous management of a golf course I have ever seen.

Save your money! Go elsewhere.
Save your money. $185 to play here. Which you would expect to pay for good conditions, good service, and good amenities. This place has none of those. No starter, no marshal, no cart service, and rude staff, and complete chaos at the start. 6 hours to finish a round. I play twice a week all over SoCal. This has the least value for the cost. Take my word and go elsewhere.

Place is a joke!
This course is way overpriced! Pace of play is horrible, our round lasted 5 hours and 30 minutes. Course condition is not what it should be for $175. The snack shop closed at 3 pm no beverage cart on the course leaving many golfers hungry and thirsty! ! Terrible experience, never again!!!!
Worst course in LA
I will never again spend 175.00 to play a 5 1/2 hour round with fairways that are burned and ridiculous pace of play.

A little expensive but still fun
I honestly love playing here but the fairways are extremely dry and hard underneath. Also, it’s just surprising that for $100 there aren’t really any amenities. Sign posted for bag drop, but no one to pick up your bag. You have to pay for range balls even if you already pay for a round and they are expensive. The course is challenging and a lot of fun and I’m sure I’ll play there again, but it would just be a whole lot nicer if there was a little more attention to detail and better cared for.

Great Test of Golf Skills
I really enjoy it here. You have to work your whole game, especially hitting off tight lies. The greens are in good shape and challenging as well. It's a very scenic course that moves nicely through the land with the Angeles National Mountains always in view.

Not great for the price
I thought this course would be a lot better for $100 course but it was not. The fairways work very hard and played like it was dirt, however the greens were OK. I would be willing to pay $60 for this course but not anything close to 100

First time playing here
Went for a round with the family for the first time. We all had a blast even though the course difficulty is quite in the mid-range. Narrow fairways and tough tee box location with strategically placed rough, bunkers or even OBs.
This course will challenge your skill and definitely you need to exercise good course management in regards to distance and clubs you used.
