I’ve played Angeles many times, but never again.

Arrived, checked in and was directed to tee off on the 10th….played the back nine with no drama. Get to the turn and there are 3 groups on the 1st tee, backed up.

Head in to ask at the pro shop and met with “why did you tee off on 10?” repeatedly despite pointing out the signs that said to start on 10.

No solution offered, no real concern that they screwed up. Just basically suggested we go home or wait. We eventually convinced them to refund the round, but did so begrudgingly.

Aside from their complete incompetence running the place, it’s just not a good track and although it’s not in terrible condition, for the price, it’s a disgrace.

The municipal courses in LA are in much better shape and cost a huge amount less.

It was raining heavily the two days prior to the t time. I tried to cancel but couldn’t because it was 47 hours and 45 minutes beforehand and the cut off was 48 hours. The course required full prepayment that is out of the ordinary. The course typically floods and the answering service couldn’t tell me if they would even be open the following day. No line of communication available to anyone at the course shows their commitment to ignoring their customers. Prepayment with unreasonable cancellation terms shows that management is top line driven but doesn’t understand that bad policies that treat customers poorly leads to less return customers. I will make sure to tell all of my buddies to never do business with this course due to poor management. It was also heavily overpriced. In addition, they schedule early t times and staff hasn’t even shown up at that tine and their parking lot is locked. Overall horrible management!!

Got long delayed due to lack of golf carts and no starter! Did not finish the round due to the delay! Hope the course and GN did the proper refunds?

The pace of play was terrible, we started 15 minutes after our tee times and it never got any better. We had to wait and wait between each and every shot. Meanwhile the gps kept telling us we’re behind pace and pick up the pace or we might be asked to skip one hole to catch up. Let me tell you there was no place to go just constant waiting for our group and the next couple of groups out front of us. No marshals to enforce the rules just the constant annoying gps messages. The course condition was terrible as well no green grass in sight except the greens! To me this is unacceptable on a course that’s charging $155for an afternoon tee time! Also at the snack bar they charge $10 for a small pelegrino!!’ The whole place is a ripoff!!

There’s a reason why tee times are always available. This course is ridiculously overpriced for what you get and you can NEVER get through to the pro shop when you call. It routes you to a third party whose absolutely worthless.

For the price of the tee time I would expect included range balls and at least a bag drop service. Confusing layout to get to the practice range. Course itself was beautiful. Greens were great. Firm, fast and true. Fairways were firm and on the dryer side. Pace was about 4.5 hrs for the round. Pretty average pace. I don't feel its worth the ticket price.

We arrived 30 minutes early and checked in to be told there was going to be a 20 minute delay due to frost earlier that morning, not a big deal. When we went to tee off though, there was no starter and groups were going off on their own, causing some groups to leave without the other members of their foursomes and before it was their turn. To make matters worse, once we got to the back nine, our group came to a standstill as there was a group of 7 backing up the course. There were no rangers on the course and we were only able to finish 14 holes. For these prices, you are better off going to Trump.,

I like this place but it's falling down. Maybe it can pick itself up. Way too slow for 0700 hrs. Play. No one minding the course. Greens not kept up with pitch marks, very disturbing. Bunkers were inconsistent. This is a difficult track to begin with and when you have to stop and wait >10 min on so many shots, your rhythm is snapped like a duck hook. 18 green needs to be redone as well. Sloped to roll in water hazard when you land left side of green. Not a fair test. It's a lot of dough for what you get. Just saying.

Just like everyone else said, it’s a great layout and great course but, it’s overpriced there are no services after 2:30 pm. I played yesterday (11/30) and the snack shop was closed. The pro shop had pre-made sandwiches (turkey only) and was closing up when we made the turn 1:45pm.

Pace of play is very slow. They gap groups every 8 mins and since there’s no marshals on the course they should consider gaping the groups every 10 mins.

Also, 32 handicaps shouldn’t play the black tees

The course itself was amazing. Fast greens, extremely challenging fairways. We ended up playing in front of Matsuyama, the current Masters winner, which ended up making the day really special. The pace of play was slow, but not the worst i've experienced. The main issue was the snack bar service. I understand that hiring people is challenging right now, but it took 15 min to get a microwaved hotdog and a couple beers. After the front 9, the credit card machine didn't work and our group did not have enough cash to get everything we wanted. For the price, i would expect more amenities (cart service, marshall on duty to speed up pace of play). Maybe because it was just before thanksgiving or maybe just overall labor market. But anything they can do to boost customer service, especially at this price point would make the experience much better.
