About
ChampionsGate Golf Resort, an un-matched golf facility for world-class golf, offers 36 holes designed by International golf champion Greg Norman and is the World Headquarters of David Leadbetter Golf Academy. Located just 15 minutes from Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Champions has two excellent and very different golf courses on a single site.
Greg Norman blended tradition and modern elements to create a unique golf experience.
The International course, which is the highest rated course in Florida, has the look and feel of a links-style layout in the British Isles. The International offers a golf experience unlike any other in the Orlando area, but one that will be familiar to those who have played the links courses of Scotland and Ireland. The International was designed, constructed and seeded to offer a hard, fast playing surface similar to those found on true links courses. The International, with 18 of the most dramatic and challenging holes in Florida, is destined to rank among the top resort courses in the country.

Very Links feel, LONG par 4 with water on the right short to medium and water left near the green requiring a long carry if you are in the left fairway. TOUGH Photo submitted by Gage6692955 on 10/06/2012
Put up some yardage poles!!!
This is a nice course but a player should not have to stand on the tee box and try to figure out where to hit a ball. Give us some yardage poles or center of the fairway poles. I don't have a caddie who has walked the course for me to figure out where to go. Without the poles/yardage markers or really anything to help you figure out where to go the course gets boring. Put one short in the fairway then a middle iron in. This course could be great with a little help to the average Joe on where to aim.
International Course WOW
Great course other than the gators I would have thought I was in Scotland, a bit soft with all the rain but it was in great shape I will be back

great course great condition
Great course played it a few times when in Florida my two friends from the uk and I agree that it was mint condition and managed extremely well just in tip top conidtion.

Fantastic Shape
Made a last minute change night before to play international due to rain in the area. Over 2 inches of rain last night and the course was not CPO, matter of fact was in pristine shape. Today was the first day the International course was open in 6 weeks for maintenance. Tee to green, fantastic shape. Arguably the best maintained course in central FL. If there is ever a ton of rain that occurs, always check to see if Championsgate has tee times, worth every penny.

International
Course was in great condition greens were great with good speed. Fairways also good. Good round finished 3 ball in 4 hours.

This course was in great shape. This is a gem if you ever come to Florida. If you don’t want to pay for something like the ritz, this is a great option.

Abysmal Pace of Play and Course Management
Teed off as a twosome 2:20. First 3 holes were excellent then ran into a 5some. Bounced around them. Shortly after was followed by no less than 8 singles one after the other. Finally called it quits after 8 holes. Couldnt get into any rhythm. Course in top notch shape. No complaints there but have played this game for over 20 years and never seen anything like it. Full refund from pro shop where there were two pros who seemed to care less. When leaving saw 6 groups on hole 8-9 stacked behind the 5some.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Course was in great shape from tee to green. Greens were fast, but receptive. Lots of pot bunkers (expected on a links-style course) and fairways in great condition. Some tight lies around the greens with lots of undulating. Lots of staff to help and direct you if it's a first visit. Booking with a HotDeal definitely made it worth the price. Would absolutely return for another round next time I'm in the Orlando area.
