About
ChampionsGate Golf Resort, an un-matched golf facility for world-class golf, offers 36 holes designed by International golf champion Greg Norman and is the World Headquarters of David Leadbetter Golf Academy. Located just 15 minutes from Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Champions has two excellent and very different golf courses on a single site.
Greg Norman blended tradition and modern elements to create a unique golf experience.
The International course, which is the highest rated course in Florida, has the look and feel of a links-style layout in the British Isles. The International offers a golf experience unlike any other in the Orlando area, but one that will be familiar to those who have played the links courses of Scotland and Ireland. The International was designed, constructed and seeded to offer a hard, fast playing surface similar to those found on true links courses. The International, with 18 of the most dramatic and challenging holes in Florida, is destined to rank among the top resort courses in the country.

Course was in great condition greens were great with good speed. Fairways also good. Good round finished 3 ball in 4 hours.

This course was in great shape. This is a gem if you ever come to Florida. If you don’t want to pay for something like the ritz, this is a great option.

Abysmal Pace of Play and Course Management
Teed off as a twosome 2:20. First 3 holes were excellent then ran into a 5some. Bounced around them. Shortly after was followed by no less than 8 singles one after the other. Finally called it quits after 8 holes. Couldnt get into any rhythm. Course in top notch shape. No complaints there but have played this game for over 20 years and never seen anything like it. Full refund from pro shop where there were two pros who seemed to care less. When leaving saw 6 groups on hole 8-9 stacked behind the 5some.

Course was in great shape from tee to green. Greens were fast, but receptive. Lots of pot bunkers (expected on a links-style course) and fairways in great condition. Some tight lies around the greens with lots of undulating. Lots of staff to help and direct you if it's a first visit. Booking with a HotDeal definitely made it worth the price. Would absolutely return for another round next time I'm in the Orlando area.

Absolutely fantastic (National)
Played for the first time yesterday and it was fabulous. The staff was amazing and the course was in great shape. Two key notes the greens are a little slower than they appear and this is Florida. Some of the fairway bunkers may hold water during the rainy season but that’s to be expected of any course in central Florida. I will be playing again today.

Great course
The course was in excellent condition from tee to green. The only negative was being stuck behind some school kids for 11 holes. They were extremely slow even while playing best ball. I will return to this course as many ltimes as I can in the future.

Not ready for theChallenge
The International course is long with lots of big and small sand traps waiting for you. If you are fortunate enough to avoid them numerous ponds await. Played in the pm thinking no one would be out there because of the 99 degree temp. Not much shade except in your cart. Pace was slow and I did not finish in part due to heat. I will play here again. Excellent value for the $$. A nice amenity is complimentary valet parking and 2 bottles of ice cold water in the cart with towels.

Championsgate International
Nice track…I prefer a little more scenery on the course, but this was a links style. Tough from blues. Clubhouse meal afterwards was amazing!

First time golfing in Orlando area, when I come back I will definitely play the international again! We did let the big guy play through though.

Really nice course
We played late and there was no one on the course so we played pretty fast. This course is in outstanding shape, especially for the money. True and fast greens, nice tee boxes. Only drawback is there was not a lot of shade anywhere so bring lots of water.

International course
One of the best if not the best I've played in the Davenport area, Great layout and course condition not to mention the great staff on hand. We did encounter a new hazard with a Gator on the 7th, but this only added to the experience of playing in the States ......I'll be back for sure!!!!!
