ChampionsGate Golf Club - International

It has been a couple of years since I played this course (International). The course condition is excellent. The greens are clean but running around 8 on the stimeter. It was a cold and windy day so it makes the course a bit challenging playing from the back tees. I would play this course regularly but because of the high cost of green fees...I will only play if there's a "hot deal" or reduced cost from golfnow. All things considered it is a bit over priced.

I recently had the pleasure of playing at one of the most pristine golf courses in Florida, and I must say, it was an unparalleled experience! The course was absolutely breathtaking, with lush fairways and meticulously maintained greens that truly showcased the beauty of the landscape. Each hole offered a unique challenge, perfectly blending natural scenery with the sport's demands.

What truly set this course apart, however, was the incredible staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional customer service. The team went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my visit was enjoyable, making me feel like a valued guest rather than just another golfer.

The combination of the stunning course and the attentive service created a memorable day on the links. I can't recommend this gem highly enough, and I look forward to returning for another round soon!

From the greeting at the clubhouse when they took our bags, the visit to ChampionsGate was a pleasant experience. Putting Green and Chipping area were in great shape, the range wasn't packed and had good grass to hit off of since we were some of the 1st times out. The course was in Great shape, 98% of the tee boxes were flat and in good shape, greens could have been faster but with the undulation, I'm sure it helps the resort guests who don't play as much. Will be back for sure to try the easier of the two courses but I also plan to play this one in the future.

In fantastic condition for this time of year. Greens rolling true and fairly quick. Staff is always nice.

This was incredible value for money and checked all the boxes for me:

1) Friendly greeting at bag drop and pro shop

2) Included cart, range balls and water so I didn't feel squeezed for every dollar (I'd rather pay more for all inclusive that have to ask "How much" for each thing).

3) Nice course with outstanding course conditions (I'd like faster greens but understand resort courses need to cater to a wide range of preferences).

4) Very reasonable pace of play.

5) Friendly end of round greeting with clubs cleaned up and ready for the next round.

Just a very enjoyable day and will certainly play again (or try National) next time I'm in Orlando.

Right from the start this was a great experience. Friendly greeting, helpful and great value. Nicely designed course in great shape. Reasonable pace of play. I was particularly impressed with the included range balls and water. So nice to not feel like you’re having every last dime squeezed out from you.

Wow. Do yourself a favor and play the international course. What a jewel of a course! A true links course. It’s challenging but fair. Greens roll true and it is in mint condition. Norman did a spectacular job with this design. It has every kind of hole that requires a variety of shots. The staff were very friendly. Rick was extremely kind and welcoming. I look forward to playing this course again soon. Will also play the national course. I would’ve paid twice what I paid to play this course. I paid $115 and a course of this level could easily charge $200 to play. Really enjoyed it.

I played the International Course 11/11 - 11/13. Really enjoyed this course. Was scheduled today 11/14 but got the flu and had to cancel 🙃.

Staff was excellent. The course layout was fun and in great shape. We played the international course. It was challenging without being overbearing. It offered a nice selection of risk/reward opportunities. I will certainly play again

Course was incredible, staff was even more amazing. They helped get me out faster and even was able to let me play alone (I wanted to work on some things). Was an incredible experience.

Pace of play slower than previous visits. Course conditions were above average.

This international course is pretty unique. It's my second time playing here, haven't played the national yet. Very challenging course, you will lose balls if your handicap is a bit high, but fun nonetheless. Staff is great and practice facilities are well maintained too. Definitely recommend to other players. A bit on the expensive side, but worth it to play at least once.

one of the most challenging layouts in central florida. i have nothing bad to say about this course except the staff was a little stiff and unfriendly. still a great golf track and worth the battle through i4 traffic to get there

First time out there and was absolutely blown away. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Course was gorgeous and immaculately kept. Would recommend to anyone who’s visiting or if your local after 2 rates are well worth braving the sun, heat, and occasional shower.
