About
ChampionsGate Golf Resort, an un-matched golf facility for world-class golf, offers 36 holes designed by International golf champion Greg Norman and is the World Headquarters of David Leadbetter Golf Academy. Located just 15 minutes from Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Champions has two excellent and very different golf courses on a single site.
Greg Norman blended tradition and modern elements to create a unique golf experience.
The International course, which is the highest rated course in Florida, has the look and feel of a links-style layout in the British Isles. The International offers a golf experience unlike any other in the Orlando area, but one that will be familiar to those who have played the links courses of Scotland and Ireland. The International was designed, constructed and seeded to offer a hard, fast playing surface similar to those found on true links courses. The International, with 18 of the most dramatic and challenging holes in Florida, is destined to rank among the top resort courses in the country.

course was as always in great shape
got to the course 30 minutes early only to find out that I was not on the tee sheet not really sure why , but the staff at the course was great they fit us in went out a bit late went out got as many holes in as we could then had to leave before we finished . I called golf now and talked to a man by the name of Alexander he explained what happened and for the inconvenience he sent me some promo codes thanks Alexander, can't wait to return

Not sure it’s worth the money
I was able to get a tee time online. The rate was half of the regular rate, probably because I was a single added to a booked threesome. I would have been very disappointed if I’d paid full rate. The greens are in good condition, but the fairways, bunkers and tee boxes are mediocre at best.

Back Nine Pace Was Brutal
Great course overall and the conditions were really good. Our groups biggest issue was that the found "New Friends" when we made the turn. All of the sudden we saw three new foursomes that we hadn't even seen on the front nine. Play was considerably slower for the back nine with the group often watching the previous group putt out before teeing off on the hole in front of them. They even joined up playing the last couple holes as an 8some and a 4some. I am not sure who was to blame but we never saw a players assistant/ranger one the course.

Great tome
Everything was great, only complaint was I couldn’t get my hands on any golf tees in the pro shop. I had to beg others to give me tees. What kind of place charges $140 for a greens fee and can’t provide any golf tees ?

Place is stunning, played Cypress the day before. Greens were faster at CG

Nicer of the Two Champion Courses
Both courses are in great shape and one can easily see the attention to detail in.both. That said, no question the International is the better layout. I’m from an area of the country where there are lots of courses as nice that charge $50 less a round. This is Florida, however, and in peak season. If you get a deal on golfnow for $80, solid, if you can get it for $60, all day every day.
