ChampionsGate Golf Club - International

Great course great greens and superb layout. Well all you expect from Championsgate really. Never been disappointed and I have been playing here every September for the last 15 years.

Course fairways and greens were in good shape. Still some signs of aeration on the greens. Most bunkers had water or grass growing in them and were in unplayable shape.

This was a technical course to me. Shot placement is key. Windy conditions made it challenging. Moved to the white tees after playing the front from blues. Too far off the fairway and bye bye ball. Rough is THICK.

Long and challenging. Shots off the fairway penalized by tall weeds. Requires using all clubs in your bag. We played in 95 degree weather so not many golfers out there. Overall a very nice golf course. The golf starter was very nice and helpful.

Played both courses there & they are in great condition. The pace of play was great, about 3 hours. Greens were a little slow but great for average or casual golfer, the way resort courses should be. Rather have fun than be frustrated!

We were delayed by 1 hour due to pouring rain. Once on the course, it had drained well. The greens were super fast, entire course manicured. If you are looking for a true links course, I highly recommend this course!

Practice facilities - excellent. Could have hit balls all day!!

Course in fantastic condition - found it a tough test from blue tees - just under 7000 yards - par 3’s all around 200 yards apart from 1. Would love to play it again - highly recommend it.

Enjoyable round, greens were good pace, only comment would be the greens staff change the hole positions on a lot of greens within 3/4ft of the old ones (maybe because of drainage) I had a few putts that were resting in old hole marks, not a negative just feedback.

This was my first time playing the international at champions gate and I was very impressed. I’ve played many of the public courses in the Orlando area since moving here in 2017, and this was definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had.

The links-style layout is very unique compared to most courses in the area, and forces you to think strategically about every shot. The conditions were excellent from tee to green. The fairways can be very narrow and the greens were hard so it can be tough to get approach/chip shots to check up, but that’s links golf. It also has nice views for a resort course, and many holes are far enough away from the resort that they manage to be peaceful.

I had a lot of fun playing the international and for the price you really can’t beat it. We got a hot deal for $40 earlier in the day which was well worth it, but I’ve seen afternoon prices as low as $20-$30, which is an absolute steal.

Beautiful course, it’s in great shape and the holes are set up nicely.

This is the Second time I’ve played this course. If I can make one recommendation to any first timer, played to keep the ball in play. If you’re 1 inch off the fairway you are in calf high grass. Accuracy is of the utmost importance, so take a shorter club and keep it in the short grass.

The course is in great shape. Fairways are great. Greens are hard and fast. Overall this is a phenomenal golf course that's definitely worth playing.

Son and I arrived to the course early so wife and daughter could go shopping and check us into our resort.

Practice greens and chipping area were great, driving range had well maintained grass hitting zones, but the range balls were not refilled and we nearly ran out. There was a morning tournament the ended around 1:45. To fill the course they had groups going out on both 1 and 10 tees. Which caused a back up for us when we came or the back nine and headed to front nine.

. Entire course was well maintained. We were able to try out callaway rogue irons and epic flash face driver and fairway woods as course loaners, was not impressed with the clubs.

There were no cart girls and it got hot in the afternoon could have used some drinks
