About
The National course is a classic American-style layout that rolls through 200 acres of southern woodlands and wetlands. Unique bunkering, tree-lined fairways and intriguing green designs define shot making challenges. In particular, golfers are apt to remember the National for its testing par 3 holes and for the double green shared by holes 4 & 16.

CG National
Greens were good, little bumpy in places but great speed. Fairways good shape but no matter the
Tees you play fairway bunkers reachable, making the landing area seem tight (an added challenge!). Staff was great, engaging and informative. Pace was OK but not great as round took 4.5 hours. Would play again.

Definitely returning
Super friendly staff from the moment you pull up to the valet which carriers through the pro shop, starter, ranger and post round lunch at the bar. Excellent service all around.
Course layout is fun and interesting with a variety of shots required to be played. From long 5s to short risk reward 4s fun challenging holes 1-18. Greens had been top dressed but that didn’t affect the speed or firmness for the most part. I never felt it affected the putting in a significant way. I’m certain a week from now the benefits of the treatment will be felt.
Pace of play was great and the course was not crowded at all. We moved at a great pace.
I’ll definitely return and check out the international course as well.

Very well maintained greens
I’ve played this course two times. Once around 15 years ago and once again today. The course has barely aged. The staff were super friendly.
Above all else, the course was in great shape especially the greens. I shoot mid 90s and this course stretched my skill. Definitely a favorite for me.

Played a round just after a couple of cold days before new year’s eve. Course in excellent shape and staff very friendly. Greens firm and in very good condition. Would absolutely recommend this course 😊 Thanks for a good day and great memories.

Would highly recommend Championsgate National Course
A fantastic golf experience.
Every staff member immensely friendly.
They do the little things that make for a great day eg. provide water and towels, range balls at no added cost, friendly and non-condescending starter, and regular visits by refreshment cart.
The course is naturally spectacular and in prefect condition. It is the right amount of difficulty for most golfers in my opinion.
I would play again for sure.

Must play in orlando
This course just has such a wonderful challenging design that we always make sure it is a must play each trip. The greens were in great shape, fairways were perfect as always, bunkers were great except for green side bunker #1. It has some issues with drainage pipe showing through quite a bit of it. Staff was fantastic as always. Disappointing the beverage cart doesn’t bring you requested food items if you play the national course.

SURPRISING UNREMARKABLE
Champions Gate National was quite disappointing. The Norman layout was very average with few memorable holes.The staff was quite accommodating and friendly but the lasting impression of this day will be the bag piper playing at the end of the day. Very moving.
