About
Eagle Creek is a British style course, from the bunkers to the chipping areas. It is a new 18-hole 7,198 yard-Par73 championship Orlando golf course and is located minutes from Orlando International Airport, near Lake Nona. Ron Garl and Howard Swan collaborated to design a course that has an old world charm with modern amenities. Eagle Creek is the first course in Florida to use the technologically advanced Mini-Verde grass, resulting in exceptionally fast and vibrant greens. Eagle Creek is a designated Audubon Silver Signature Course with lush landscaping and challenging play that features over 90 white sand bunkers reminiscent of those found in Scotland and England, with extensive bulkheads embracing water hazards and over 1,500 trees lining its breathtaking fairways.

We haven't played the course for a few years and were looking forward to it. We were really surprised and disappointed about how many houses have been jammed up against the course. The greens were slow, but in good shape. The fairways were fine for this time of year.

Great Course
My wife and I played three rounds of golf during a recent Florida vacation and this was the best and most enjoyable course we played. The fairways were in great condition, the greens were well maintained, and you could see that the staff was taking good care of the course. Scot who got our clubs set up on a cart was very helpful and provided great info not only on the course but the surrounding area. I would definitely play this course again when I returned to Florida.

Expensive Public Course with poor maintenance
I play in this course several times but yesterday did not cut the price, course needs maintenance and a lot, greens are so bad that your ball just bump and go to any direction, also not sure if they planning to install new grass but there are patches of not sure what grass or weed and then black patches with no grass in others. Drink person never seen it, Drink location at clubhouse close at 3 and no way to find drinks anywhere in the course. In general I wont spend any money in this course, need a lot to take care and maintain, get the right person to maintain the grounds and specially the greens, you can get better luck in the one next door or in celebration they do know the business. One more note, need garbage cans in the starting point, someone was leaving all trash in every place because there was no garbage cans available.

Greens
Greens were in very bad shape. Not sure why they are usually in descent shape.

Great course
Very nice course . The layout is fair for all golfers. Greens were great to putt on. Tee boxes and fairways were in great shape. Still be back again.

Conditions
I have played this course quite a few times and is always in excellent shape . I live locally and is my favorite course to play in Orlando and there a lot to choose from ! Played Sat afternoon and was floored on just how bad the greens were …. I have never seen them this bad . I played in the afternoon so the rate was lower than normal. I would have been extremely upset if I would have payed full rate which for the course is still very high IMO .
No drink cart out at all or at least we didn’t see one . Just a very disappointing experience . Overall . For the $$ spent Harmony us a great alternative option if I was coming to play in the area .

Saturday outing
Overall the course was in good shape. We found the pace of play to be slow taking over 4 1/2 hours to get thru the round. Although the course was in good overall shape I was very surprised to find the front 9 greens to be in the shape they were. Eagle Creek has always been a premium course and found the greens on the fron to be below what I have come to expect from this course. Hopefully they can get them closer to the back 9which were a little slow but at least consistent and rolled consistent not as many irregularities. Still recommend the course and look to seeing it get back to what I expect.
