Good practice facilities and the course was in surprisingly good condition given the wet weather. Yes there is some damage to the greens but it is restricted to the outer few feet of green only & is recovering. Speed of greens was fast & they ran true. There are some challenging holes and there is not much run due to the recent rain so choose your tee appropriately - move forward unless you bomb your drives!

Pace of play was outstanding although the group in front tired obviously on the back nine over the last few holes - it was very humid so make sure you take plenty of drinks with you.

Friendly staff throughout just adds to a good golfing experience at this course - I'll definitely be back to play on future trips!

Course conditions were great today. The greens are in great shape and roll true. I would highly recommend this course if you can get a great price. The bar and restaurant is top-notch and the staff are very friendly.

This is one of the nicer courses that I have played in the Orlando area for under $75. It has Trackman range, nice putting, and short game areas. The course was in good shape for the most part, greens were receptive yet rolled well. Bunkers were even manicured well. Very nice place.

The course was playing long and was very soft due to the recent rains but it is holding up well amd still a pleasure to play.

Played from the back tees so definitely a tougher course of the backs but condition was good frees good ,only negative about all the courses I’ve played in the USA is the extra money I have to pay for my wife as she a non golfer as in uk we don’t have to pay just leaves a little bitter taste after such a good golf course 👍

This was our first time playing Rio since they renovated the course and honestly such a good job. Also, in the past this course was notorious for a 5 hour or longer round so I was very hesitant to play.

I'm thankful we took the chance because we played in 4 hours flat, and the new course design and conditions were awesome. Reminiscent of Carolina golf with the pretty sand dune features and lay up creeks.

Recommend giving it a shot!

Collars of greens were fried. Not sure what happened. Been some rain so could be why fairway grass needed to be mowed.

Normally I like this course but the greens are rough and difficult to putt...for me it ruins the challenge of getting to the green if you can't putt successfully after arriving. I went about 3 months ago just after aeration and it was bad...waited 2 months and they had verti cut and it was bad...went yesterday and the greens had been punched and not refilled with sand...was bad again...was with 2 other players who also were disapointed
