GolfNow’s fees have gotten out of control, and the app experience isn’t much better. These charges hurt local courses by taking money from golfers and likely adding fees for the course as well. You’re better off skipping the platform entirely and booking directly with the course.

Tee time was 8:20. Should be no problem to finish in 4 hours. Not here. They are too afraid to speed slow groups up. They would rather have 50 groups of disappointed golfers who had to suffer behind one ridiculous foursome. All they have to do is make the slow group skip a hole if they fall behind. Good golf courses CARE ABOUT PACE OF PLAY.

Fairways and greens in good shape...lots of straight away and slight dog leg layout....very little water comes into play...Old Florida country club vibes...driving range practice facility is top notch, restaurant has been modernly updated and the food was good. Course layout was not quirky, simple but challenging...would have loved to take a step back in time to see it when the PGA played there...overall good value and would recommend.

Teed off at 8:48 and didn’t finish until 1:15 because the group in front of us was so slow and the starter refused to tell them to speed up. It’s truly sad that a golf course like this takes so long to play on a Friday morning before 9 when the course is in nice shape.

Can’t say enough good things about the upgrades and golf course, just wish they’d spend money on staff and make the total experience better. One group backed up whole course. Had three groups on one tee at one point.

One of the best local public courses in greater Orlando area. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice course to play.

Narrow course but well groomed, so no cheap lost golf balls. Greens roll true. We got rained out bad, but I have nothing bad to say about the course or the friendly staff

I’ve played this course a few times since moving in the area . They do a very good job of keeping the course in great shape . Kudos to the staff for a job well done . It’s definitely worth getting a tee time if you haven’t tried the course . You won’t be disappointed.

All good at Rio. Greens in very good shape. Pace of play could have been much better. Our 3 ball played faster than the 2 ball in front of us. Worth playing this classic design.

First time playing on a visit to Orlando and will be back to play again. From tee boxes to greens course was in great shape. Outstanding practice facilities. Greens were recently sanded but rolled true with good pace.

Great course, great layout, friendly staff and slowest pace of play you'll find in the area.

The course is in good condition. Fairways and greens are fast and firm. There are a few thin areas on the fairways and tee boxes. Overall the course is a good value. One downside is we only saw the beverage cart once the entire round.

Best greens by far!

First time we have played here in about 8 months. We love this layout and have played it many times. When they raised the prices about $75 we didn’t play here but this week we booked it at $56 and it was in great shape. Maintenance were working hard and the starter was very friendly. Greens are quick and true. Hopefully the rates stay down for us that are on fixed incomes.

Course conditions were good but with slow play and I didn’t have my A game on

Very well laid out course. Beautiful vegetation features throughout. Greens are perfect. Everything is maintained to high standards. Will be back soon.
