About

The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

Best shape ever

I hadn’t played here in almost two years. I was afraid with all the rain that the course would be muddy. I was very pleasantly surprised with course conditions. The course is in the best shape I have ever seen it. Go play it. You won’t be disappointed

Fun place to play

The staff is excellent. The course is not very long but well laid out. The greens are in good shape and are pretty fast considering the amount of recent rain. The tee boxes could use a little work but overall it’s a fun course and good value.

AMAZING course amd food!

To get on the course you have to go through a gate and need to tell them your tee time. The course driving range is not on property but the putting green and chipping green are in great shape. The course has great shot placement work and the fairways amd greens are in perfect shape.

Not what I expected based on the ratings

Friendly staff and the greens were in good condition. pace of play is a struggle, even with a ranger around it is very slow. Fairways and tee boxes are hit or miss. Very short course, so need to be mindful of balls from other fairways.

Overate in my opinion.
