About
The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

Firstly - we played during the week of the club championships and he course was really well groomed. Greens were rolled and all areas were marked for championship play. Stay were fantastic and it was definitely the best value of any course we played in the Orlando area.
One of my favorites
Still love this track although it’s a little worn in places. That’s to be expected after a cold winter and lots of traffic. The greens were and always are in great shape. They were extremely fast which made it challenging. Always love the layout. We drive from Canaveral just to play this course because we like it so much.
Great golfing
I’ve played here a few times, and as a newer golfer, I really appreciate how this course balances ease and challenge. It’s enjoyable without feeling too easy, but still pushes you to improve.

Nothing has been maintained. It’s hard to believe that almost 2 years ago they renovated all the greens and course and it looks like it was never renovated.
The tee boxes are complete trash. If you like teeing off in a sandboxes, if you like having tight trash lies around all of the greens. The greens haven’t been taken care of.

I really enjoyed this course but I will not be back anytime soon until they make some real changes on the golf course.
They are definitely not putting the money in any of the right places. I wish I had photos to share the incompetence of the “USE TO BE GOOD TRACK”

The fairways were a little dry but playable. The greens were good. Fast. The pace of play was ok. Not a long course.

Solid local course. Tight fairways create the ideal challenge. Shorter overall course is great for newer players to build confidence. The pizza at the 19th hole is amazing.
Nice course but grass needs water
There has been a shortage of rain so the course was dry and hard to hit off almost bare ground. We only had a twosome so play was slow. Family in front sometimes had a fivesome so that didn't help, but think they were waiting as well
Fairways and greens were concrete hard.
Water this course to soften it up.
It was like concrete.
Fast and firm winter conditions tighten up.

Great layout. Requires some shot shaping. A few holes require carry over water. Course can play very tough on a windy day.

Sounds like you need to go play another course, we good, we play regularly yes winter has made it difficult , but spring is here, we have plenty of 5 star resorts you can play drop some money have a good time.
