Ventura Country Club
About
The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

Golfer Reviews
Not what I expected based on the ratings
Friendly staff and the greens were in good condition. pace of play is a struggle, even with a ranger around it is very slow. Fairways and tee boxes are hit or miss. Very short course, so need to be mindful of balls from other fairways.
Overate in my opinion.
Short but good
Tee boxes very uneven and hard. Hard to push the tee into the ground. Tee boxes are very uneven and hard to find a place for even stance. Greens are very fast.
Good lay out, terrible maintenance
Overall okay experience, friendly staff in the pro shop and the starters hut.
Course very wet in places cart path only due to heavy water. Places of the course saturated. No driving range due to being soaked. Tee boxes worst I have ever seen due to some disease, everyone of them had more sand on them than grass. Was very disappointing. Greens and fairways in decent condition.
2/5 , probably wouldn’t play again.
Short course but very challenging
Ventura is always in pretty good shape. There has been some work done on some of the tee boxes so a few were a little beat up. The greens were in great shape. The greens at the VENT are always a bit tricky.
It is a par 70 course and 6000 yards from the back tees, but the challenge for this course is that the par 3s are long. Six par 3s and four of them are over 200 yards from the back tees.
Great Course for the Money
For an intermediate player who is a senior, this course is perfect and I would play it regularly if it wasn't an hour plus from my home.
Everything except the traps was in tip-top shape. The greens were pretty fast for this time of year, which is fine as they rolled very true.
I think a more skilled player might find the course a little boring, but I must say the par 5s and most of the par 3s were very challenging.
Always good
Played here again and course was good overall especially for June. Just sanded greens but they rolled true. Restaurant is always good. Only complaint is cart girl showed up on hole one before we teed off and we Never saw her again. Unacceptable when the heat index is 101.
$60 Yes Please
Best under $100 course I’ve played in a while. Not perfect, but they’re putting in work, greens could use some love but this plays was more than playable at that rate. I was really expecting the worst of the worst with the rate and was super happy with this place.
Challenging Course and Friendly Staff
The course has several challenging holes where you have to navigate water, and there are plenty of sand traps. The condition was very good. It also has several holes where it can be an easy par or better. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I play with a few friends often, and we all enjoy the course; it's the course we play most often.
Greens need improvement
Sorry guys, I like your course; but the greens are just not up to the conditions that I would expect. They are bumpy and very inconsistent.
Quality and Reiability
Always in good condition. Best value for your money
Staff is very friendly and the 19th hole is a great place stop by after you are done for some food and drinks.
Nice course overall
It is short. White tees are only 5400. Pace is slow. It’s in good shape. Greens are fast as I like them to be.
