About
The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

Course was well maintained.staff was very friendly
Nice course
A few tough holes. Condition wise, a little rough/bare in some areas, but for the most part nice, healthy grass. Bunkers were raked and consistent. Greens were very good.
The greens are very fast
Due to no rain the course is very dry and the surface of fairways and greens is very hard and fast. This golf course will be awesome once the normal rain starts.
It’s a Gem
Very nice golf course. This is the 12th time we've played there. Really a gem and very helpful staff
Challenging greens on a windy day
The wind was whipping 20-30 miles per hour and the greens were fast like glass. We found the ball severely affected by the wind. Consequently, scoring was extremely difficult. But the course layout is great, and the course conditions were decent Good value with GolfNow. I recommend it.
Good for the price.
Decent. Tee boxes are in rough shape. Fairways are decent, greens are in rough shape. Good practice course. You get what you pay for.
Cement Greens
Greens and tee boxes were terrible. Fairways and bunkers were in great condition. Easily cost me 10 shots from the greens alone. I was thinking it was going to be a great round, but the greens were literally a 1/10, and honestly just ruined the round. Miss a putt at the right speed? Doesn't matter. It's rolling 2 yards uphill, or 6 downhill. My favorite short course, but I'll try again when they can work the sprinklers...

Ventura is a great course. I was joined by 3 other gentlemen who made the experience great and the day enjoyable.

Course in good condition
We found the course in good condition. Greens were hard and speeds varied greatly, down grain down wind make for interesting putting.
First time playing so a number of times hit it where you just can't hit it there. We are snowbirds heading north soon but look forward to playing it again come winter 2027.
