Greens and tee boxes are exceptional, fairways can be a little rough in some areas. Well worth the time and $ to play here. SPECTACULAR mountain views on many of the holes. Take some extra balls :)

You’re going to need a variety of shots here to score well. Very fun to play for the first time and will return to this gem.

True test of golf. Positioning of shots a key. A lot of blind shots from the back tees. Hit a 3 wood or long iron off #17 tee over the rock or just left for the best angle to hit the par 5 in 2. Majestic views will distract you when playing. Greens were rolling well so pay attention to the slopes or you’ll card an easy 3 putt. Worth the travel

I've given a few reviews of Olde Beau over the years- but honestly it's just about the best experience in the game of golf! The golf/views/price/staff are just beyond anything you get in Pinehurst. How this place isn't a permanent fixture on top-10 lists shows just how pathetic & corrupt the rankings systems are. GO PLAY BEAU- YOU CAN THANK ME LATER- worth the 2 1/2 drive every single time!!!!

Hit a hole in one on #3. Aim for the hill on the backside of the green and it’ll roll right back.

Olde Beau is a beautiful challenging mountain course. It has some very tough holes with beautiful views from many different holes.

This is one of the best courses I have played. The scenery and air in the mountains is extremely beautiful and comfortable. The course is taken care of meticulously and the hospitality of the staff is wonderful. I look forward to returning and spending more time.

Some better directions or some better signs on getting to some of the tee boxes otherwise the course was in great shape. Everyone from the grounds staff to the pro shop and the snack shop were very polite and courteous.

Beautiful views and rolling hills absolutely define this course. So much interesting elevation change that club selection is vital to either get up to the green or make sure you don’t overshoot it. Driver not necessary on every hole which is a nice change from most courses near here. Greens rolled smooth and for the most part true. 10/10 would recommend.

What a course. From the staff, to the course. My experience was amazing. The views are beautiful and the whole course will test you. You will not find one hole that doesn’t. Very much Recommend

So first of all the weather is Phenomenal, about 20° cooler. This was our first time playing this hidden gem. Everything was definitely in line as it was not very crowded so we were able to tee off early. We will definitely be returning here as not only the price was attractive but again the layout the challenge and just the overall beauty of this course was a home run for my self and my father…

Course was in great shape, #17 green has some issues, but the rest were perfect! Views awesome as always, Please note that the course has not gotten easier! LOL , Its a placement course, you will need their yardage book or gps if you’ve never played it, and good luck then. Course is tight and a great test of golf. True mountain golf course with extreme lies if you get out of position and sometimes when you’re in position. Many say it’s tricked up, not my observation, You can score well if don’t try to overpower the course and think your way thru it. It is one of the more difficult golf courses that I have ever played, but I love a challenge! Enjoy!!!
