Front 9 okay, Great back 9

Nice course. Can score well; not super difficult.. No cart service. No water stations on the course. Ridiculous and actually dangerous given level of heat. No warning that they don’t have water or beverages on the course. More affordable than some of the other courses around. Practice range closed at 2:30 so that was lame, too. Why do they shut down afternoon? You still have a ton of golfers on the course? Front 9 nice enough but you are in for a treat on the back nine. You are in the mountains for much of the back nine. More homes on the back nine but they are really nice homes so nice scenery in that sense, too. More elevation changes with uphill and downhill shots on the back so much more interesting and picturesque. BYO drinks.

Another Great PGA WEST COURSE!

Beautiful from start to finish! I played from the tips and the teebox views were spectacular. Only one reason for 4 stars on course condition is the greens were very slow and nothing like the practice greens. The condition of the greens was flawless, I'm thinking they must not have been able to mow them that morning because we were told they were a 12, I'd say closer to an 8. Plenty of visits from the beverage cart and the restaurant was good also, fairways and collars were perfect!

doesn’t get any better

This was my first time playing in palm desert. I usually goto Scottsdale once a year to play golf but I found out that great courses were a lot closer to home then I thought. Palm desert offers everything Scottsdale does. I will be back again.

No rakes in sand traps and no towels provided. Marshall on the front 9 helped keep golfers moving but slowed down again on a the back.

Great course with great views

First time playing course. Tough greens if you are not accurate with your approach. Really well taken care of and staff was friendly and on top of slightly slow pace of play. Putts roll really true on this course. Some/most of the views on the back 9 are amazing!

La Quinta Mountain Course

We enjoyed the front 9 very much, however we were unable to complete the back 9 because it was so slow and backed up.
