The course was in great shape

So sad that Westin Hotel is cut off from the Westin timeshare…..it ruins the ambiance of the facility..plus the economics of it all. The golf course is great though.

Tough, too tough to enjoy

Grounds are beautiful, fairways and greens in excellent condition, but brown grass and dirt abounds. Unless one is on the fairways, the lies offer no chance to recover. Pete Dye is doing the game of golf a disservice.. I’d compare it to going to a beautiful new church only to be confronted by self righteous members

We haven’t come for 3 years due to Covid. This is always one of our favorite golf courses. We used to enjoy the Pro shop with all sort of Golf merchandises but this time we found out that they shrink the pro shop by half!

Westin Rancho Mirage Golfing

Even though we played with a BRAND NEW golfer that refused to pick up and play best ball (gotta hand it to them for being determined to "hit it where it lies" every time...) -the course was in great shape, the greens were tough to read, I forgot about "everything breaks towards Indio"...and missed putts by millimeters. I recommend this course to anyone who loves golfing in Palm Springs. NOTE: You have to take a shuttle from the parking lot to the course-so plan at least 10 extra minutes, unless you are a guest in their hotel.
