Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa - Pete Dye Resort Course

Had a great golf adventure today at the Westin Rancho Mirage Pete Dye Course. It was our first time playing there, and the pace of play was quick, which made for a really enjoyable round. The greens were in great shape, just a bit on the slow side, but still rolled well.

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, the cost felt very fair, and practice balls were provided, which was a nice touch. Overall, everything was great, and I would definitely come back and play again.

It basically comes down to the attitude of the staff at most golf courses. Hear the entitlement and laziness is above and beyond here. The starter and Marshalls are basically indignant and the course itself is in very rough shape. Greens are completely abused.

Overall a good course. Not too difficult tee to green. Condition is good but some area do have bare spots in the rough. Greens are generally smooth.

Only complaint is it took me 10min to get a cart at the starter stand and the range disallow woods.

First day open so it should get better. No driving in fairways. Greens were unbelievably slow. Pace of play was terrible - 3.5 hours for 12 holes and getting slower. Had to quit.

I had a great time playing this course. It wasn't super hard. I had a decent level of challenge to it. The course was immaculate. My only real gripe was the pace of play. I got behind a foursome that would not let anybody play through and they really slowed everyone down by almost an hour, and the Ranger didn't correct them until they got to the 15th hole

My first time playing this course and it was beautiful. Course was nice and green. We had a slow group in front of us but other than that we had a great time. I will definitely be back

I have played this course many times over the years and it is very consistent for all aspects and will continue to play in the future when visiting the area.

Note, the value is significantly better than the Desert Willow courses (where we often stay) with similar conditions and difficulty.

like the course but was disappointed with the pace of play, there were zero rangers on the course and that would of helped. not one beverage cart either at was high 90s. this was surprising. having said that i still like the course at the price point its at but its seen better days...

The course was in good condition especially on the front 9. The back was a bit dry. The staff was super friendly and engaged. We really enjoyed this course and will go again

Stunning views, greens are in beautiful condition. The only semi-complaint was that the only place to get something to eat was their Italian restaurant. Really just wanted a burger or sandwich.
