About
A solid course design and immaculate course conditions make Wekiva a favored golf destination. Crafted out of a wooded setting, it features many doglegs bordered by large stands of trees and no parallel fairways. Most holes are well bunkered with water coming into play on three holes.
A semi-private club that welcomes outside play, this 18-hole, 6,801 yard par 72 course has mature oaks, pines and palms; equitable undulating fairways; strategic bunkers and gentle mounding that highlights both the fairway and greens.
Wekiva, only 4 miles from I-4's exit 48, is a golf club in the truest sense.

Golfer Reviews
Nice people, poor condition
Great place to play if you want to get a quick round in with low traffic.
Course needs a lot of love though, lots of brown spots/no grass throughout the course
Needs grass
Overall Wekiva has a good layout and would be a solid course, but the course prevents an enjoyable golfing experience, especially when considering the price. If it cost $10 I wouldn’t complain, but for what they charge it is hard to justify playing a course where your short game shots will be from spots with no grass… and I’m not talking about when you’re in the bunkers (which are another issue). Seriously, there are holes at Wekiva where there is no grass around the green complex. Many bare spots on fairways. Greens are slow. And the tee boxes are rough. The new vinyl fence and cart paths are good, but I’d rather have grass than the fence at the course.
A Cow Pasture Minus the Cows
The description of this course on Golf Now is, "A lush, beautiful golf course..." Well, this may have once been true but, sadly, it's no longer accurate. The fairways are mostly weeds and crabgrass with the occasional smattering of some sort of grass. (I might have expected to see a cow or 2 or 3 wandering and grazing, but at least bovines are not currently part of the landscape... yet.) There are also many barren areas so be prepared to hit your shots off many bare, tight lies. The bunkers have some sand but each could use a partial truckload of new sand to make sure a sand shot does not dig into the earth itself. The greens are inconsistent, some having bare areas and some very good, though repairing ball marks seems anathema to many who play here. (Be prepared to be courteous and repair your ball mark as well as 2 or 3 others.)
There is a brick or block rest area that is accessible from both the front and back nines but, unfortunately, it was unusable as use requires a numeric door code which none of our threesome was given before starting. If you play here, be sure to ask for the code.
The layout is good and very challenging and would be a great test if course conditions were better. The staff was very friendly and the golf carts are in good condition so I have nothing but good to say about this.
For price, we had a Hot Deal so it was only $32.99 each whereas the standard green fee is about $53.00. For the Hot Deal, the price was OK but, for over $50, I would advise the reader to play elsewhere. For over $50, you will be underwhelmed.
A local’s course. Nothing fancy. But fun to play!
This is a true local’s course. Enjoy playing this course by myself and with friends. Mix of easy and hard holes. The course is getting into a better overall condition. Recently replaced all uneven concrete cart paths and new vinyl fencing.
Always a Pleasure....
To play Wekiva.
Great friendly professional fun-loving staff.
From check-in to restaurant to cart attendant makes me feel like family.
Love course layout
Challenging yet fun exciting holes
Pretty good shape considering inconsistent Florida brutal heat.
Good for a quick, fun round
First time playing. Staff is super friendly and fun. Pace is not an issue. Greens were in very good condition. Getting there is the problem. Lots.of dead grass in fairways and off. You will be hitting off dirt and sand to get there. Definitely good for.a round if you're not a super serious golfer.
Worth the Money
Wekiva is a nice little course. Conditions are improving. The greens are on slow side but are good. Tricky to read. This course is what you make it.
Pro shop guy was nice. Ranger needs to move on. Up our butt the entire round, it was 100 degrees and no one was playing behind us???
Otherwise like the course and have a good time playing.
