Wekiva Golf Club
About
A solid course design and immaculate course conditions make Wekiva a favored golf destination. Crafted out of a wooded setting, it features many doglegs bordered by large stands of trees and no parallel fairways. Most holes are well bunkered with water coming into play on three holes.
A semi-private club that welcomes outside play, this 18-hole, 6,849 yard par 72 course has mature oaks, pines and palms; equitable undulating fairways; strategic bunkers and gentle mounding that highlights both the fairway and greens.
Wekiva, only 4 miles from I-4's exit 48, is a golf club in the truest sense.

#16 from Tee Photo submitted by Steve8905914 on 10/20/2014
Nice challenging neighborhood tract.
Management appears to be working at getting this course into better condition. It has some bare spots and some weedy patches on the greens. The tee boxes need some seeding. The tract itself is challenging and long. The course is fun to play and the trajectory is going in the right direction on improving.
Pace of play was off
Too many slow people that don’t like to let faster people play through. The slow group ahead of us got a third person on 4th hole to add to the wait. No ranger anywhere to be found. Course was ok but the pace makes that irrelevant. Took almost 5 hours to finish for a 2 some. There’s better cheaper courses near by that are more open to pace.
Won’t be back soon.
Course is in good shape
Was hesitant to play because of some reviews but it’s in good shape and would definitely play again. The greens look great just slower than I’m used to and the areas I could complain about I shouldn’t have been in anyway. We were out early mid week so not sure about pace of play some have mentioned.
Still in bad shape
Went back after a few months to see how it was doing and it still looks like a goat track.
Course in decent shape
Overall, course is in fair-good shape. Some of the greens had spots. There were some weeds in the fairway and some greens had hard dirt by the fringe. Good practice facility, staff was friendly. I like the fact that they had drinking water coolers.
Staff don't care
As a single player I ask the pro shop guy who I going to pair with he told me go joint a group. The starter didn't care about the tee time. I have to go thru the six foursome in line and all of the have tee time later then mine, I'm glad they was nice people and I go Ahead of them, that is not good starter should be taking care of that and pair singles with a twosome or threesome so the day go smooth for everyone.
Greens!
Staff is very friendly! Locals not willing to golf with others!
Plan extra time bc this course, though worth the trip is not easy to find and GPS is its enemy! However, the greens are predictable and fastest I have played on this trip! I would definitely come back bc of that. The layout is convoluted so be sure to get the tips before you leave the pro shop or most definitely on the turn for the back 9! Fun course and definitely worth the money! Bunkers are well kept and soft making it more pleasurable to chip out of! Pray for rain so the Tee boxes and fairways fill in!
