A solid course design and immaculate course conditions make Wekiva a favored golf destination. Crafted out of a wooded setting, it features many doglegs bordered by large stands of trees and no parallel fairways. Most holes are well bunkered with water coming into play on three holes.
A semi-private club that welcomes outside play, this 18-hole, 6,801 yard par 72 course has mature oaks, pines and palms; equitable undulating fairways; strategic bunkers and gentle mounding that highlights both the fairway and greens.
Wekiva, only 4 miles from I-4's exit 48, is a golf club in the truest sense.

This is my go to course.
Great staff, and the course is usually in good shape.
The pace of play is what you expect for a 18 hole round.

Really enjoy this course...quiet and woodsy. a great looking design in great shape, although 17th green needs attention.

Fives ones. Why?
Do you love to be stuck behind a fivesome? Then you will love this course. There are fivesomes here all the time and management does NOTHING about it. Willing to skip a hole or two and only play 16 or 17 holes? Fine, you will pay for 18 but have no one in front of you after you bypass the fivesome in front of you because they are out for themselves and no one else. They do not belong on the course but management looks the other way and says they will bring it up with staff? Never happens. They have been saying this for years and the curmudgeons continue to come out in their four carts and five players and hold up everyone behind them. They are selfish, self-centered, slow and old and they do what they want and management continues to look the other way and do nothing.

We can assure you our staff works hard to accommodate everyone who visits our course and allow our guests the chance to complete their rounds. With that in mind, we are working to best control pace and allow everyone to finish in a reasonable amount of time. Getting better
I have played here many times in the past after the greens were replaced the course was in above average condition then within years after could see it starting to get below average so stopped going. Today we chose to go out again for another try, was very pleased they must have hired a new greens keeper the sand traps were well maintained as well as the hole around the ponds but the greens are in great rolling conditions no burnt area, I recommend to get out a try it will be back soon.

Another 5some?!Tee boxes
Tee boxes over seeded for winter, no problem. Fairways mostly good. Greens some bad spots but mostly good and quick. Pace of play sucked till finally went around a 5some (which has happened several times here, why?) did not run in to another golfer till reached 18th from 9th hole. One group holding up an entire golf course.

a quiet beauty
First time back playing Wekiva in about 5 years, glad I came back. Woodsy and quiet, just as I like it, nice chunk of real estate/good sized fairways. Greens in good shape. I'll be back!

What’s not to love about it
Had a fantastic day at Wekiva, with great weather and good company. Loved the wide and forgiving fairways, hardly any rough and smooth greens, which were well protected by strategically placed bunkers. The course looked well maintained and staff was super friendly. Considering the green fee of $20 (Hot Deal) I was worth every dollar! Loved it!

nice course
I like this course. It is fairly long but only has limited water and wide fairways. There is a small amount of rolling terrain but as with most FL courses pretty much flat. The carts are in good shape with canopies for clubs and wind shields...strangely you don't always get this. I would play here more often but it is a unpleasant 45- 60 minute drive from my house.

Nice Course
7AM start therefore grounds very wet but no one in front holding us up. Nicely kept course. Only complaint is sand on the greens. Overall a nice course.

Nice layout and staff. 5 hour round due to tournament and sending golfers off on the 10th tee. We made the turn and there were three foursomes in front of us. They all had tee times around 1:15 and the not to bright guy in the clubhouse has them all starting on the 10th tee. Bad experience as had two golfers who had not played course before. They will not be back.

Greens were pretty good
Tee boxes need some work, but the fairways and greens were in pretty good shape. My buddy and I zipped around in less than 4 hours on a beautiful Sunday morning. The only thing that tampered my day was that I lost my sunglasses. If y’all found some in cart 35, those are mine.

Greens are great
Greens are great, fairways are almost great and the tee boxes were pretty rough. We played in about 3 hours, after we got around the slow group in front of us about 13 holes in. We would have been able to play in less than 2.5 hours if it were wide open on the front. All in all, great for a Friday round in Central Florida.

Previously Better
I've played here about a year and a half ago, it was in great shape, ...carts lined up to tee off!
The course could use some TLC. However it has been a rainy summer. it's hard to control weeds and maintain conditions of a perfect golf course.
With that said, I will return to this course because it does have a great layout and some very challenging holes!
