A solid course design and immaculate course conditions make Wekiva a favored golf destination. Crafted out of a wooded setting, it features many doglegs bordered by large stands of trees and no parallel fairways. Most holes are well bunkered with water coming into play on three holes.

Golfer Reviews
Overpriced
The only thing that keeps me from playing the course more frequently is the price. The greens are good except for 17 (which has no grass) and a few spots here and there throughout the course. The tee boxes are in good shape except for some of the back tee boxes which are being abandoned (the course is not that long-these tee boxes should be reestablished and maintained at this elevated price point). The fairways are average at best. There are lots of bare spots and unevenness throughout the course. I'm not a normal critic of cart paths because to me they do not distract from my enjoyment of the round, however these paths are disintegrating and offer a very bumpy ride (as do much of the fairways) and for the increased price point I think most people would expect a little more. The pace of play today in the morning was good. The layout is fine (its enjoyable to play). Like I said the course is enjoyable it's just overpriced (morning times with taxes are $45-$60). For that price, on the north side they are competing with courses like Redtail and Victoria Hills both of which are similarly maintained but much much better courses. And from downtown Orlando for that price and within 30 minutes there are just too many better options. Again, the course is fine. It's just overpriced. Eagle Dunes is cheaper, Rio Pinar is cheaper, Twin Rivers is cheaper and all offer similar or better conditions and superior layouts. If you find a deal for around $30 it is worth it. For the $50 range I think you might find yourself disappointed.
Very challenging - great greens
Nice facility. Very friendly staff. Great greens. Fast and undulating. Played in 3 hours 45 minutes. Small driving range which we could not use, because it was full and the members were going out after us. Would play again.

An OK Course
This is obviously an older Orlando course. Trees are mature and some places on the course are rather tight. We didn't really like the fairways. They were patchy with a good deal of hardpan. The greens were good though. Finished the round in 4 hours, which was good considering the amount of players on the course. Sandtraps were pretty good.

First time
Upon arrival I felt I was back in time. It’s obvious this golf club has been here for years.
Club house was roomy. Carts were electric and operated good.
The course Is average. Tee boxes big, as well as the greens of good size.
If there was an area for improvement it would be the fare ways and cart paths show there age.
So in closing I will stay in my zip code area. I can play my average courses for $10 less.

Cold Golf Day
The course is well designed with obstacles that make it a challenging course. Even though it was cold today the pace of play, the company and the course made it a nice day of golf.

I like this course
I would play here more often except it is way cross town and nearly and hour of city streets away. Anyhow, good greens and fairways...plays really long, only one water carry....good carts and warm up area...try it I think you'll like it though some of the longer par 4s would be 5s other places

Great place for golf
We just moved into the neighborhood not too long ago so I was excited that there was a course so close. I have played a few times and the staff is great. The carts are clean. The course itself is in good shape. The greens are fast. The clubhouse is dated and in need of a remodel but I am there to play golf, not hang out.

Order of play: Fivesome, twosome, Fivesome, twosome. Lovely. Do not expect to play through. The curmudgeons are slow, disrespectful and inconsiderate of everyone on the course but themselves. Total disregard for the rules of golf and other golfers.

Found the right hole in player tee times; played as a single in 2 1/2 hours. Course in fine shape, bunkers tended to, Quiet and woodsy.

LOVE THOSE FIVESOMES!
If you like playing behind a fivesome you have to play here. Because? You have time to read a book, smoke a pack, drink a bottle, catch up on what is going on in the office via email with your bosses' secretaries and most importantly, blaming your appointment tardiness to so S-L-O-W play at ole Wekiva. The grass is really thin on the fairways, but overlook that, and concentrate on the fivesome in front of you and how their captain's choice game is coming along. And don't worry, Wekiva management will assure you they are going to have their staff look into the problem. But don't believe that old saw because they are proud to have fivesomes on the ole course holding up everyone behind them, They think it's funny you should even ask 'why'. And one more thing, don't think they are going to let you through if you are patient because that is NOT happening. You are stuck and you and everyone behind you may as well quit because the fivesome is front of you has you exactly where they want you. Now all they have to do is ignore you and pretend you do not exist. These old guys love holding up everyone on the course and taking their time playing their game. What can you expect? Four carts and five old guys and total disregard for anyone else on the course. Cheers.

I play at Wekiva regularly and have been behind Fivesomes several times. Although it’s a bad look, I’ve always finished the round in less than 4 hours. So to me, it’s not an issue at all. Course is in great shape too.
Bin a Bit
Haven't played here in awhile, about 1.5 years. The greens were in pretty good shape. The front nine were better than the back nine. The fair ways were nice. You have a serious mole problem. I'm sure your aware, but overall is was nice to get back and play a full 18 here.
Keep improving. Will play again soon.
