Wekiva Golf Club
About
A solid course design and immaculate course conditions make Wekiva a favored golf destination. Crafted out of a wooded setting, it features many doglegs bordered by large stands of trees and no parallel fairways. Most holes are well bunkered with water coming into play on three holes.
A semi-private club that welcomes outside play, this 18-hole, 6,849 yard par 72 course has mature oaks, pines and palms; equitable undulating fairways; strategic bunkers and gentle mounding that highlights both the fairway and greens.
Wekiva, only 4 miles from I-4's exit 48, is a golf club in the truest sense.

Course needs TLC
Enjoyed course layout, considered fairways & tee boxes needed attention, greens were fine
.
greens were in great shape.fairways were OK and tee boxes were fair.Value for price paid was excellent
greens are in excellent shape, sand traps are well maintined, fiarways are in good shape
This course is for the long hitters and sand traps are guarding the holes making it a challenge with good iron shots to make par. Its a course were you can take the driver out of the bag on every par 4 and par 5 as its just long and straight with no water hazards to worry about. If you like hitting the long ball off the tee this course is for you if you want a challenging course that you must make decisions and club changes then you need play a different course.
wekiva deal
I am fairly regular to this course but Sunday's conditions were the best I have seen in years. the best part I chose the course because it was cheap due to the A! aerating warning. I knew it had been 2 weeks so I gambled and won. wekiva is an interesting course because it looks easy from the tee box, but if you don't play smart you can get in trouble. Hardly any water holes (17 and 18) so I was able to play with only 3 balls all day. A good round of golf, a bargain, and of course a good cigar...
You should play here
Why do I say you should play here? Because they are making the effort to improve their course instead of letting it go, as other courses seem to be. The greens are so much better than they used to be. The practice area is improved. The pace of play was good....slow players, please ignore this review!
Give them a try. They deserve our support for their efforts.
Nice course
We had a good time playing this course. However it wasn't the easiest to find. They could use better signage to the course and on the course for holes 10 and 17. Besides the confusion the hot deals price was a fantastic value.. It's well maintained and the greens were in great shape.
some greens are to be repair
not bad overall rating .
need washroom at lease one in course.
Worth playing
We played another course the day before and paid the same price ($25) and this in comparison was one was much superior. Overall the course was in good shape and very playable. The back nine seemed more challenging with green side bunkers coming more into play. Pace of play was great. My only complaint was the poor quality of rental clubs. They really need to be updated.
New greens
Course is in terrible shape no grass from fairways, weeds etc.
They redone the greens which are very good.
Drinking coolers empty at midday.
Course is only good just to practice on if that!
You will not see me again!! Not worth even cut rate!
Good greens...but that's about it
About all I can say is the course has good greens. I will admit that there are bunkers throughout the course that are surprisingly good. However I did not see one rake on the entire course. Nice not having to clean up but not nice when you land in somebody else's mess. As far as the rest of the course, there's work to be done. The fairways were like hitting off of AstroTurf in most cases with weeds everywhere. There were some tee shots that we had trouble finding our balls because of the camouflage of the weeds, which definitely applies to the rough as well. Hitting out of the rough at times was better then fairway because at least the ball sat up on the grass a little. If it wasn't sitting up though the rough was just as hard as the fairway ground. Paid $26 per player. With the deals from golf now and the courses that I've played in the area for that same price there's no way I will ever play here again.
Great value, good condition, superb greens!
A pretty tight course amongst the houses on Wekiva estates, really friendly staff and almost deserted on Easter Monday!! Would definitely pay here again, superb value for money. why pay $80 when you don't have to!
Greens were in outstanding shape but fairways could use some work.

Good Value for the Price
This was a return visit. Greens are vey good, the rest of the course condition minimally adequate, but the price is certainly right, thus making this a reasonable place to play. Course is old style yet challenging and not overly long when compared to today's standards. Would recommend this for those tired of $50 plus green fees.
Rain doesn't affect this course
We played right after it rained for hours and you couldn't tell that it rained at all. The course drained very well just wet grass. Nicely maintained course. a couple elevation changes, I would play this course again!!
Nice course, poorly run.
Course was in good condition and a great value for the money. However, we were very disappointed in how the scheduling/starting was run. We called in the morning and they said the course was wide open (it was a weekday). We could tee off as a twosome almost any time. We made a tee time for 12:30 and showed up at 11:30. The place was packed. No spots open on the driving range and several foursomes queued up at #1. The backup continued until we finally got off at 1pm. They actually put a fivesome ahead of us and then added 3 people to our twosome. The round turned out fine but we did not appreciate the misinformation on how busy the course was, the 30 minute late start, and the multiple fivesomes they put together.
Course continues to improve
Wekiva is a great neighborhood course. The staff is outstanding and the crew has really maintained the recent upgrades to the greens and bunkers.
Enjoyable course to play. The bunkers make it difficult sometimes!
I had a good first nine, but the back nine I found more difficult. The bunkers are well placed around the green, so you need very good accuracy to avoid them. The bunkers have big lips that trap your ball rather than letting it skate on through. Of course, high lips mean difficulty getting out and/or difficulty staying on the green when you do get out.
