Pretty tight, short, nice greens, creek/ponds on most holes.

I'm a 5 hdcp. Shot 79. Played the back tees. Front is flat and straight, back is hilly and target golf. Greens were good bent grass. Bunkers were totally unraked after a night of rain. I played at noon. It's fairly tight all the way around. I only used driver on a few holes. Short, target, 3 shot par 5's. Back has 3 holes that are pure targets. If you miss, a green sized landing area off tees, you lose a ball. Nice design and very traditional look. Good value and cheap after 3. Nice staff. Gave me a rain check credit for a whole 18.

Challenging little course

Short but challenging course. Scenic with great greens and fairways. Back nine is more challenging than the front with blind shots and layups. Course was wet due to two days of rain before we played, so it was cart path only.

Great course, but if you are a beginner it is very challenging.

Loved the views and overall course. Needs to be maintained on the golf cart path....too may potholes and rough terrain. No sand on carts to fill divots.

This course was awesome!

I've never played a mountain course before.the views from the front nine where of the mountains and creeks and ponds throughout.the back nine was very tough and the coolest layout ever. Almost needed 4 wheel drive carts to navigate the unbelievable terrain. It was such a radical design and I had to play to twice just because I couldn't really get enough of it. I cannot wait to return .

Back nine has very interesting holes through the hills and valleys

Course is interesting, particularly the back nine in the hills, several blind shots. The course needs more yardage markers, hard to know your distance to the green. Also needs to have laser reflectors on the pins. Greens were in good shape but slow - not mowed on the morning I played. The greens are challenging to read, with subtle slopes. Bring a ball retriever to retrieve your ball from the river that runs through many holes, sometimes have to hit across it more than once on the same hole. The carts didn't have sand containers, so couldn't repair divots. The cart path has not been repaired in many years.

Challenging course with great bent grass greens.

We played as a twosome and finished in little more than 3 hours. Great were great but fairways not as well kept.

Front 9 and back 9 are entirely different.

Played 2 days after heavy rains and the fairways had not drained/dried (cart path only all 18 which was the reason for the time to play). Front 9 relatively flat. Back 9 like a rollercoaster and challenging. Enjoyed it.

This course is now a Diamond Resort..

Before purchased by Diamond the course had fallen into disrepair. We played in April 2013 and could see the potential for a cordial if not easy round of golf once Diamond addresses some cart path and grounds issues (relatively minor ones). Given enough time and attention I believe this little course could be quite nice. Until then go with 2 stars in mind as a rating and you won't be disappointed.

Worth playing here!!

Friendly staff. Fun course. The creek meanders through the course making it very pretty and challenging for those who have difficulty hitting arching shots. The back nine have beautiful views and calls for accurate shot making. Strongly recommend the course.

Fun to Play

This is a great course for something different. The front 9 is pretty standard as courses go, dog legs, sand, water and gently rolling. The back 9 is a really fun and challenging mountain course with lots of surprises requiring strategy to compete.

I really enjoy the course and recommend it to my friends.
