Indian Hills Golf Club

This course was great, we had an 8am tee time and pace of play was fine even with a 4some in front who were new to golfing we were done in 4 and a half hours.

Course is challenging with almost every hole presenting elevation changes. Some of the reviews have been brutal but the fairways are fine, greens are fine and if you want to pay $300 a round go for it but there’s a lot of value at Indian Hills and you will definitely learn how to club up or down based on elevation and/or the hard core winds we got today for most of the round!

Played on a Sunday morning at 9:30am. The first 9 holes took 2 hours and 45 minutes, and then there was a 15 minute wait on the 10th tee.

It took 4 hours to play the first 12 holes, and our 4 ball decided 5 minute waits on every tee box was too much so we drove in.

Course is OK, but pace of play was brutally slow.

The course either needs to put longer gaps between tee times or have some rangers keeping players on track.

It was my first time playing Indian Hills, and I will not be back.

This entire course could be considered "ground under repair". Even with a well struck drive in the middle of thefairway, chances were very low that you would have a decent lie. Spent a lot of time looking for something decent to put my drive on. Most of the grass was gone. Just a light fuzz on computed mud.

Gopher holes all over the course, greens in great shape. Slow pace.

Lots of dirt patches along the fairways and some ripped up tee boxes. Fun course worth the money if you don’t mind most of it going towards the 8/10 greens (smooth, soft, rolls true but some divots). Overall good day of golf. Moved quick despite some inexperienced groups. I would avoid weekends here.

The course has a cool layout. A lot of elevated tee shots on the Par 4’s & 5’s.

Very scenic. The staff is extremely friendly.

Unfortunately the grass was burned out on most holes so it caused for bad lies after nice fairway shots.

The greens are tricky, but for the most part, in really nice condition. $50 may be a bit too high to play here on a Tuesday morning, but at this point in time, with how crowded courses are, it is what it is.

I am not the longest hitter but everything seemed in range. Pretty narrow and the greens keep rolling. For sure would play again and I paid holiday rates!
