Indian Hills Golf Club
About
Nestled in the foothills of Riverside County, Indian Hills Golf Club incorporates a range of different elevation changes. The elevated tees provide great views of the surrounding hills while the tricky raised greens make up the bulk of the course's difficulty. Conveniently, the spacious layout doesn't have any parallel fairways. The undulating terrain guarantees that you'll come across a few uneven lies and there are also a few tough blind shots in store. Water hazards come into play on a few holes as do strategically placed bunkers but the focus remains on the dramatic drops and rises of the terrain. There is an especially daunting drop on the 16th hole. The challenging layout and scenic views have built Indian Hills' reputation as one of southern California's best public golf courses.

Well worth the monsy
Course was in very good condition today. Pace of play was 4 hours for the 18 holes played. No back up on any tee boxes of holes on the course. I’ll definitely be back sooner than later. Thank you for allowing us to play.
Getting Better
Haven"t Played Indian Hills for a while 8-10 Months. It was getting pretty rough poor fairways and greens too.
It seems like they are trying to improve and reinvest back into the course.
New Golf Carts, Greens are in really good shape and the fairways are a work in progress. Sand traps have Sand not dirt. They have a Marshall who drives the course so pace of play is ok.
We've avoided Indian Hills and used it as a last resort. But we'll be back if they keep improving.
Great Staff !!
We liked the fact that the staff was friendly and helpful easy to do business with , the greens were in great shape but over all great experience .
Interesting and in fairly good condition but not for me.
The fairways and greens are slightly better than most in this price range at this time of year. The fact that it's called Indian HILLS is very descriptive. Almost every fairway is uphill or downhill or has left to right or right to left slopes. I don't think that's a great way to challenge an intermediate golfer such as me. Being that it was my first time playing it, there were many shots I thought would turn our well, but when I got to my ball, I was screwed.
The 3 guys I played with were regulars so they knew the "lay of the land" and they play this course 3 or 4 times a month. I get that, but for a first timer...this course didn't get my interest enough to get me back.
Nice Course.
Had the first tee time of the day, so we set the pace of play. Nice, well taken care of course, friendly staff. Only thing is I like to get out so I don’t have to play behind ppl because I have a good consistent pace of play, so I like to be out early so I’m not held back. So I was a bit disappointed to finish hole nine and go to tee 10 and see a foursome of very slow players ahead of us, playing the back nine. Only complaint. Other than that, this is a great place to golf. Will definitely continue to play here and recommend.
Hills
I last played this course in mid summer 2020 and gave it a horrible review due to course conditions. Just played it again and the condition has greatly improved. Tee boxes and greens are great, fairways are pretty good shape with the recent rains. There is new sand in the bunkers and they corrected the drainage issues in those bunkers. They are good to play out of now.
I would recommend playing this course as it will continue to get better over the next couple months.
Good day at Indian Hills GC
Indian Hills' greens were well groomed and rolling nicely - overall, just beautiful for a public course. The fairways were also in good shape. We played the first nine in 2:00 and the back nine in 2:30. The fees were more than competitive, booked on Tee Time. It was 70 and sunny today, February 3. Travel is an hour there and one back home, but our group felt the course is worth it, and we agreed to come back.
If you can secure a tee time for less than $50 then this course is worth it
Good course for the price
The course was in fair condition. A few greens were in rough shape, while others were very nice. Finished 18 in 3 hours 20 minutes. Hole 16 has an amazing view.
Great course for the price.
Very fair pricing usually good tee times available.
Occasionally you have some slower play from some old timers and newbies but overall a good track. Usually about a 4 hour pace Marshall presence could help that out a bit but still not bad.
