Deer Creek RV Golf & Country Club
About
Located just 20 minutes from the Disney theme Parks. Deer Creek RV Golf & Country Club has a convenient location at the intersection of I-4 and US Hwy 27. Walkers and beginners will enjoy the player-friendly traditional design, which features short distances to the green. The layout consists of par 3s and par 4s only. Deer Park's front nine is a bit gentler than the back nine where you'll find plenty of sand coming into play as well as many trees. The golf course also has a few tight spots where you'll have to employ accuracy and good course management. You'll get a chance to work on your short irons on this course. Golfers wanting a formidable test should look elsewhere but there are enough challenges at Deer Park to keep the round interesting.

Not too bad
After reading some of the reviews, I thought it would be a lot worse than it really was. It is starting to get into fairly good shape, but the greens are still pretty bad. Patchy in spots, but the sports that aren't look good. I say two more months in it will be a good course. i booked it cheap and i thought it was worth it.
!st trip of the year
I played this course several times last year and enjoyed it. This year the first 4 or 5 greens were burned and cracked- not worth trying to put. They raised their prices to the same as much better course. Not worth the money and no fun with greens so bad..
disarray
The course is in general disarray. greens are compleatly gone no grass anywhere on the course. Not sure if there had been any maintenance done in the past month or so. Very cheap in price and expect to get what you pay for. great for beginners!!!!
this course is awful
glad to hear it has been taken over by the residents as it is in a terrible state,my wife and me played it it on the 3rd of October and we could not believe how much the greens and fairways had deteriated since we last played it on January 2013. good luck with the improvements and we will be back in October 2014
We enjoyed our day of golf.
I think that it was a great golf course for a novice and I'll play it again in the near future.
dire need of work
Thankfully our green fees were greatly reduced by GolfNow because we have played many different courses in Central Florida and none of them were in the condition that this one is. I understand it is November and this is seeding time etc. but this course requires more than this to bring it back to the condition it should be for the $ they charge.
Will get better
In the middle of a residents buy out because the owner didn't care. Certainly shows! Only paid $7, so didn't mind. Several temp greens, one hole closed, some awful greens, but 2 were nice. Also some awful tees and fairways. Staff very nice, obviously embarrassed about the state of the course. Residents buy out for December 2013. I reckon in 6 months of so this could be a nice course again.
In need of TLC
Potential for a great little course but is currently in poor condition. Several (approx12) of the greens are temporary greens which is a flag in the fairway. Definite grass issues with the course, tee boxes are in poor shape, fairways are not great, 5 greens were ok and hole 12 was closed.
I took my 5 yr old son with me and we still had a great time and only saw two other groups playing. We had a fun afternoon but would not recommend until the grounds improve.
Requires Attention
One of the members said that this used to be one of the top courses in the area. That would be easy to believe. The majority of the greens have some issue requiring work. Still, it served my purpose of wanting to work short irons. Hopefully, it will get repaired...could be really nice. Staff was great.
This course has great fairways.
A couple of the greens needed attention because the Sand Hill Cranes got to them. A nice little course for the beginning to average golfer. The good golf could use it to work on their short game.
The greens need a great deal of work. The course is under-maintained
Our biggest complaint is the condition of the greens. The course is a fair layout considering the fact that it wends its way through an RV resort. There are some very short holes - and no par 5s, which we expected. But the general conditioning of the course is poor.
Greens are terrible!!!!
Well the price was right and only $10 through GolfNow. The tee boxes were just OK, the fairways were nice but the greens were in terrible shape. they were well mowed but full of weeds, sand patches and clumpy grass. It was a nightmare to putt on. Dips and just an overall mess.
I will not golf here again.
fun to play
layout is fun, the condition of fairway, green and teeoff
is poorr, need to be look after.
Interesting Short Course
We have played it twice recently and enjoyed it on both occasions and would certainly play again with a golfnow discount, if we wanted to play an executive course.
The fairways and tee boxes are ok but most of the greens are worn and need attention, but it is still a fun course.
Makes for a great day of golf
We have played his course since coming here in February. The course offers challenges and great rewards. The staff is so friendly and always make you feel welcome. Played our last game today and even after Sundy's serious storm the course was in great shape. Looking forward to playing when we return in January2014
This is a challenging Executive course
The back nine has sand, sand and more sand. Great staff. The greens require attention. Patchy and bumpy.
Very short course
75% of holes are a par threes bad part is 4 or five are under a 100 yards slow pace some holes there where 3 groups waiting
some greens were very poor , others okay
It was good practice for use of different clubs. We play fastee, the first 10 holes, then were slowed down by other players. For an executive course, it was well worth what we paid.and convient from where we aere located.
Good executive course to walk
This was a good short Par 60 course to walk. Good mixture of par-4's and par 3's. Course is tight at times so be carefull if you spray tee shots. Course was in decent condition. Some of the greens did need some work though. The staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome.
executive course, fun to play
People were very nice at check-in. They seemed glad to have my business. I was paired with a very nice couple. We had a good time. We played in three hours. Greens were in tough shape. I wouldn't want to have to make a five footer to save my life, but it only cost less than $20 to play.
