About
The East Course is one of two four-star rated championship courses at Jacaranda Golf Club. Both golf courses have a tropical landscape covered with ponds, canals, colorful landscaping, and of course plenty of swaying palms. The East Course is the longer of the two courses. It has served as host for several PGA and USGA tournaments and qualifying events. The layout features tree-lined, undulating fairways and raised, sloped greens. It offers a challenge at almost every turn with 80 bunkers strategically placed throughout and water hazards on 15 holes. Some of the bunkers are built into the mounding complexes, giving them sod faces and high lips that are difficult to navigate. Those that manage them successfully though will be rewarded with excellent scoring opportunities. The popularity of the two golf courses has affirmed Jacaranda as one of the best places to play in southeast Florida.

Great course
Terrific course in spectacular condition. Very player friendly and a great layout. Played it several years ago and don't remember it being this nice. A bit pricy during regular hours but worth it for its condition. You'll walk away wanting to play again. Can't go wrong with this one. Played the east course.
Just noticed I had booked from wife's computer.
Over priced
Very nice course but way over priced. I ended up playing the West course this day. Nice layout and in great shape. Just a few bad spots on the greens. Food is over priced also. Staff was very friendly.
One of our favorites you can play in the area
Fairways and tees were in great shape for a public course. Greens need work. Expensive for public, but one of the better public courses in the area.

Great course
condition of play excellent! Fairway and rough were easily identifiable. Green in good shape at an excellent speed. Certainly not $95 worthed.
Over rated
Over priced and over rated as being a top level course. Not worth paying more than $55 to play it.
Conditions were average and not many holes worth remembering.
Worth It
Everything was in excellent condition, somehow the starter knew my name when i showed up. A really fun and challenging round, used every club in my bag. Also the gps screens in the carts do a fly over of each hole when you get to the tee box, which is really cool.
total package
great layout, challenging course. not as flat as most Florida courses, especially around greens.. one of my favorites, will return.

One of ther better South Florida courses
If you want to play on a well manicured golf course, in a reasonable amount of time, this is the course for you

Courae plays long
Wet soggy conditions at sea level meant a cpurse that played very long for statwd yardage. Fast greens. Would love to play it again when dry.

Not too challenging
The course is in a great shape, very fast Greens and smooth fairways. Despite the rain from the day before, the course was very playable and almost dry. There are not too many water hazards or bunkers, however, it seemed that we always had headwind against us...this made the Par 4's very long and required long Irons or even woods for the second shot.

Still one of the best
I've played most of the courses in Broward and Palm Beach and Jacaranda is always in a little better condition than any other golf course in SE Florida. The greens were as fast and nice as I have ever seen them. In fact, overall condition was super. Heading back there next chance I get.

All you can handle
It is a tough course. Especially if you move to the back tees. Very challenging tee shots and tough greens. They were a little wet the day we played but it is a nice track that can kick your butt!

Fast Greens
I will say up front I am not a huge fan of Florida golf. Every course seems to be a play on the ponds, and palm trees riff. The course was in nice shape and I got a pretty good deal for a weekend (around $60). The greens were a little more undulating than I'm used to in the area and definitely faster. Got paired up for a 7am tee time and we flew around the course in around 3 hours. I wouldn't pay the rack rate and the course didn't really fit my eye, but I have no reason not to recommend it. I still prefer playing Grand Palms, for example, at a cheaper price and also a more interesting layout.

Why is Jim so unpleasant
Absolutely a fantastic place. Everything is perfect ... except on the starter, JIM, the older one. Does he realize that life is great and he can learn to smile?. C'mon Jim, cheer up, being grumpy is not a great way to end your life. Get over whatever makes you unhappy. We are not paying the high price to be pushed around by you. I have been playing the courses since 2011 and you are just bad news when I deal with you. I am sure you are a great person, but please show it to the world.
Regular destination in Ft. Lauderdale
We always schedule Jacaranda on departure day. We can count on a consistent pace of play, take a shower after our round, and head to the airport for the flight home.
On this day the weather was poor, the course was very wet, and play was cart path only. Nevertheless, we had an enjoyable 18 holes that were very challenging and fair to play.

This is a great course
I've been told to play this course for a while now..so I did and its a real challenging course...if the price was a little cheaper I would play it a lot more...saying that its a great course and I recommend it at least once..

Great value
Played the course during a trip to Fort Lauderdale. Course was in great shape especially the greens. The only issue was the 25 mph winds that the course had no control of. Will play again on my next trip.

It's been wet but the course was fine - East Course
Played the course after a big evening rain. Condition was naturally soft but very playable with little standing water. Course has an excellent selection of tees and the layout has challenge and variety. Staff was pleasant and courteous.
