About
The East Course is one of two four-star rated championship courses at Jacaranda Golf Club. Both golf courses have a tropical landscape covered with ponds, canals, colorful landscaping, and of course plenty of swaying palms. The East Course is the longer of the two courses. It has served as host for several PGA and USGA tournaments and qualifying events. The layout features tree-lined, undulating fairways and raised, sloped greens. It offers a challenge at almost every turn with 80 bunkers strategically placed throughout and water hazards on 15 holes. Some of the bunkers are built into the mounding complexes, giving them sod faces and high lips that are difficult to navigate. Those that manage them successfully though will be rewarded with excellent scoring opportunities. The popularity of the two golf courses has affirmed Jacaranda as one of the best places to play in southeast Florida.

Love this course
Came to Lauderdale for business trip and wanted to stay an extra to play some golf. Even though I have been watching this course, but with concern of being too close to homes, I have been staying away. But when I came, I found that no home buildings near the fairways and the course condition is excellence. I was paired wither another couple, and we definitely had a lot of fun. Will come back to play again!

Course in great condition
Course in excellent condition through the green. Would have been nice if had been told there were 4 holes that were cart path only (carts with GPS cut off when you are in the middle and you have to back out). By not knowing - I felt a little foolish - but then a marshal at #1 green told us what holes were restricted. Anyway, good day for golf, and again - in excellent shape, not a weed in sight, including the greens that putted great.

West nicer
Jacaranda is a nice group of courses. I think the east was in much nicer condition. The greens on the west were a little ragged

nice course
played 18 with friends on a Monday morning. It was busy, but well managed. computerized course mapping in the carts was a nice touch. Nice condition, well kept, interesting pin placement kept the course challenging. Lots of water, but none of it really in play. Wide open fairways, some shorter Par 4's kept all level players in the game. We had a 4 hour and 10 minute round.

Perfekt
Der schönste Platz den ich in dieser Gegend je gespielt habe. Top Fairways, super Grüns,nettes Personal, sehr aufmerksam. Diesen Platz werde ich wieder spielen. Ich spielte East. West soll noch schöner sein
Very nice round of golf
We played the West course a few days earlier and just had to play the East course too. This course was just a tad lower condition wise but I was told that it gets a little more play. The course is a little longer, 6370 yards from the 3rd set of tees. I was continually coming up short on my approach shots. so chip and 1 put was my plan all day. I think the humidity affects the length of shots down here. We were paired with a local single, Nelson, he was real nice to play with. Overall, a great day!

Jacaranda East
Played this course twice last year and it was just as we remembered. Great fairways excellent greens, pace of play was great, no one pushing us and we didn't push anyone. Will play this course every time we're in town. Maybe one day we'll have the nerve to try the west course but I'm afraid to mess with perfection. If you're looking for a challenging course with an excellent layout and great pace of play, this is it!

I'd play here again
Went off as a twosome at 11:26 on Sunday morning. Payed $50 for greens fees and cart for 18 holes. Range balls were $9. The starter gave us divot forks with course name on them with our cards. Nice touch. Carts have nice GPS system included. Driving range and putting greens are right by starter's booth, convenient location and hit half a bucket before play. There are 5 sets of tees and we decided to play forward tees #4 which brought the course yardage to about 5750 yards. I would not do this again as a lot of the holes lost a bit of character and almost every par 4 we played was from a very similar yardage 290-320 yards. That being said we were able to play every ball down since the conditions were very good and the greens were very true and rolled great.
Course was very straightforward and aside from bunkering and was not too demanding. We did get stuck behind some foursomes playing from back tees and they struggled quite a bit which slowed things down so it took us about 4:45 to finish the round.
Staff was very professional and helpful.

East Track
I played the East course have to say I was a little annoyed with a $25 rider fee for my wife. My wife has travelled with me to courses all over...Bahamas, TPC's, heck even Pebble Beach didn't charge extra for her going along. I feel this "fee" probably wouldn't have been charged had I been paying the regular price, thus 3 stars for friendliness of staff...that and I was hurried at the range to join two other singles and a mower was mowing while one of them was putting . Other than this, course was well manicured and the greens were in great shape. The course was a challenge with some long par 3's and some strategically placed bunkers. I travel to South Florida about once per year and will probably check this course out again.
We are so glad you enjoyed our East Golf Course during your visit, and we apologize if you were rushed on the driving range and did not have ample time to warm up before your round. That is not the type of customer service we pride ourselves on at Jacaranda. Our maintenance staff is usually very careful not to interfere with a golfer’s round while working on the course but we will certainly reiterate this important policy to them. We can assure you that we charge a rider fee all year long regardless of the amount paid for a round of golf. Having a rider requires that an additional cart be used during that round and that is the reason for these fees. In the summer that fee is $25 and during the season it actually increases $45. We sincerely value your business as we know you have many choices for golf when visiting the area. Thank you for choosing Jacaranda and we hope to see you again soon
Wow!
I played a few South Florida courses last week on vacation and this course by fast is the nicest I played. Not only was it beautiful from tee to green but even the flowers around the hole markers, beautiful landscapes. ...man i wish i could play this place over and over. I payed the east course and it was awesome. It was very long and challenging. I didn't play well ama still loved it. ....

GREAT COURSE
Great Course for the money, greens were as soft as carpet. Well maintained and quiet. Staff was very friendly and everything was in amazing condition. Golf carts are equipment with range technology great for calculating shots.
Soft fuzzy green carpet is what we like to call it! Glad you enjoyed your round and the overall experience at the course!

We did not get to play due to lightning but the coarse looked amazing and I can not wait to get back out there again and play it.
